I do apreciate the work you are doing to make good headphones even better. I got the tunning foam for the Hifiman Sundara Closed and I´m glad I bought it. I also have the Edition XS and I´m really interested in these developments.

I like anodized mat shine and it looks great on HD25. Great work. I I appreciate the effort you put into "cable organizer" parts. It's not perfect yet, but I think you're very close 👍

This was incredibly interesting and also another reason for me to want to purchase the XS if your mod can get them to sound like an Organic!

Can't wait to see what you can pull off with an sls. I wonder how the different types of filaments you have access to effect the sound quality of your custom he400s, I assume petg/tpu/nylot/sls powder stuff all have different resonant frequencies and one might be a bit better than the wrest of they might all be too similar for it to matter.

Hi Jason, I’m probably a bit late to the party on this but if you need any more testers I would be happy to test on my edition xs. I recently purchased your comfort head band top stuff. If you don’t need any more testers no problem. Looking forward to what you are able to make for this would be good if you are able to them more like the Arya.

I would purchase a microphonics reducing adapter for the hd25s

I have the super grill on my HE400 and it's awesome. Tried on the HE6 V2 as well (it would be even more awesome if you could re-tune it for that as well...). I'd be happy to try this version as well on my XS...

I have a pair of edition xses and would be happy to test out the grills

Have ya thought of trying out TPU filament for noise and vibration dampening. Been using it for a long time for that and works a charm and not too hard to print.

I'd love to test your latest model of the grills on my Ed XS for you! But.. I am living in the Netherlands, so I don't know how much shipping would be. Anyway, I am raising my hand for a go. Own multiple headphones (Focal, Sennheiser, Hifiman) to compare to.

I'm a sad panda... I bought the balanced and v2 mod kits for my dt770s. I killed my headphones during the installation. Wish I'd known how delicate the driver tabs are. 😢 The heat from the iron detached one of the tabs and snapped the coil wire. Be careful if you're doing this yourself!

I'd be happy to test the XS grills. I use a Chord Mojo2, which allows for very transparent eq and I'd be interested to learn if there is any benefit of the grills over the Mojo's eq. I'm also 57 years old, so I don't think the treble spikes will bother me so much. I found your comments regarding boosting the highs having benefit, even though they might not be audible, really interesting. I have always boosted the Mojo's high eq setting by 5 dB, which I can't noticeably discern at my age, because I find it benefits instrument separation and soundstage. Could just be placebo, but I differently prefer this setting. If you're interested in my feedback, and willing to ship them out to Japan, give me a shout out, please.

I would love an opportunity to buy or receive a pair of edition XS grills for testing. I love messing with these things, just today I finally got the EQ right so im curious what the grills would sound like in comparison.

How easy is the xs mod to install?

with the HD600s mod kits, will they work on 58x? what kind of changes they offer?

What's happening with the Fidelio X2HR? Did you give up on it?

Do you prefer the new dt 770 pro x or dt 700 pro x?

So the theory is that the drivers may be just as capable, but the reason the Organic is more expensive is more time/money/care has been put into the tuning? If true, this project is even more interesting, because the implications are far reaching. Makes you wonder what is happening with summitfi cans, like the Susvara and so on. edit: Maybe transporting the XS drivers to the Arya Organic's chassis would be a an easier test? [although scary expensive?]

Tip for the Fidelio project is replacement pads. as the original are not sold and all other alternative manufacturer pads change the sound badly. Biggest problem.
