I took the day of from making rigs to hit the surf. This is part Two of an Epic day of surf fishing. I left all my shrimp at home but FishGum came in clutch for me. The Temple Fork Outfitters Tactical Surf Rods did awesome and made it fun to land all the fish.
I didn't know that my lens was dirty until it was too late. I learned to keep a check on that today.
I made a triple drop rig and got so close to a triple on it. Maybe next time.

Nice day of fishin' my man. I just used my new Tsunami 10' med action rods line rated 12 to 17 lb & they were great. Only landed 1 pomp on it but they cast great & the action was excellent. tight lines.

Nice videos Salty. Couple questions, did you actually need the sputniks in that surf over a standard pyramid? And is there any advantage to keeping the fish in a 5 gallon bucket of water rather than on ice? Nuanced questions, but I like talking about fishing and why we do what we do. Thanks.

Thanks. Pyramids would have done fine. I had the sputniks with me and just used them. I used the bucket because I was two lazy to carry the 30 lt Engal with 20lbs of ice on my cart. I left it in the car.
