I was at this show. It was the second and final time I saw the band. I was crushed to hear of Myles' passing yesterday. I have been a fan ever since I bought Nature of the Beast on vinyl in 1981 when it was first released and was on display in the front of my local Musicland store. Rest in peace, Mr. Goodwin and thank you for the many decades of fine rock music.
I woke up in the middle of the night half asleep, went to RU-vid and punched in April Wine, and i couldn't figure out why Jack Nicholson was singing lead til I awakened. 😴 Thank you.......ill see myself out 😎
im siting here crying i loved myles nature of rhe beast i played so much i wore it out my favorite rhough was just between you and me april wine was in my most band list top 5 i have diabetes 2 im 58 ive been depressed letting it get out of hands vision in my right now gone but for myles im going get it checked my father died at 60 im hoping he will look down below at me and know how much he meant to me and the insperation he bestowed on me to get my diabetes under controll thank you miles rip i love you
touching really. song pooped into my head the other day, started learning the guitar parts and harmonies. solid. He really is a likeable fella. humility suits him. eighties rock starts weren't known for their humility, but this guy seems easy to like now.
People need to check out the original video for the song... "I like to Rock".... April Wine was in the same Studio that Rush shot the video for Tom Sawyer in. And Myles was young and on the top of his game!
Just between you and me, I’ll be missing you! Your passing saddens me. The decades flew by and now there’s nothing left to do but cry. Cause It’s so hard to say goodbye. RIP
this song was my personal love song to my partner..when it came out back in 81, i was falling in love forever and though the partner is gone, the song will never leave me. tx april wine and myles
he did a great job on this. i LOVED this song the moment i heard it as a kid,...the mark of greatness,...and its one of the best guitar riffs ever. thanx for sharing this.
You know, my 1st crush in 84 ish didnt wanna have nothing to do with me, and when it became apparent, this friggin song came on.....every CRUSH BREAK!! 😅😅😅 id cry my eyes out, depressed, then another would walk buy, aww...lets see if...😮 ohhh noooo!! Que april wine!! Lol 😅😅 love this song! Thanks from almost canada 🇨🇦, Ann arbor michigan ❤
Great band! I saw them in 81 I think it was. Highly underrated band. They have some great songs, this being one of them. The 3 guitar lineup was awesome! Cool to see them still at it.
Sounds great, but the drums are too quite and a little bit "off". Missing Jerry I guess. I seen them at least 9 times through the years. Got all their autographs one time :)
I Think I Am In Love With You! 3:54 , that off strangling sounding off note almost made me want to tell you that it takes away from the voice LMAOOOOOOO
Pretty amazing...he sounds pretty much like when he was young. The only other guy I can think of that sounds like when he was young, is Dave Meniketti (Y&T). Don Dokken (Dokken) sounds horrible now.
