Aprilia Leonardo 125 Will it run? Hello and welcome to my new video!
In this video you see my latest project - a 125 scooter MJ 1998. The engine didn´t do nothing and the battery was dead, so the battery was replaced and the carburettor taken out of the scooter. Then you can see how to clean and inspect the carb.
Afterwards the carburettor was put back to its place but WILL IT RUN?
I hope you enjoy my video and it helps you to repair your own stuff - because thats my intention!

Dieses Video zeigt part 2 von meinem letzten Projekt, ein Aprilia Roller Baujahr 1998.
Der Motor startete nicht und die Batterie war defekt.
Also wurde die Batterie ersetzt und gezeigt wie man den Vergaser ausbaut. Anschließend wurde der Vergaser inspiziert, gereinigt und wieder eingebaut. Hat es geholfen und der Motor läuft wieder? Viel Spaß beim Ansehen.

I have a Leo 150 2001. I have tried almost everything to fix the cold start problem and still nothing yet. I have changed ALL rubber hoses, new carburetor, new cdi, new/different stator, new (original) petrol pump, a lot of new/different spark plugs due to weather changes, many different batteries, carburetor cleaning very very often, air/oil filters new and changed often. I even tried from dispair to change the location of the fuel tank (different one), and put it inside the saddle (all hoses connected correctly). I have been from mechanic to mechanic many times. Only temporary solutions to the problem by ALL the mechanics, and in the end, my money just flew away forever, and now I just seriously think to burn this nightmare of a bike. Cheers mate

That sounds horrible 😄 mine does need long to cold start but it will start. Is it the same with yours?

@@bikedogtor1663 Mine starts very very very difficult now with brand new spark plug only, ONLY with many many many full throttle attempts (up to 50 full throttle tries before start), and only if connected to a car battery with a fat pair of electricity cables, otherwise always discharge really fast bike battery before it starts (even with a new/full battery). It always needs to fill-up the petrol level with ur mouth first, to fill with petrol the dry filter, that only if bike sits for a long period/months then filter dries. It's a total nightmare mate. I only have a hope to try start this thing with a double pair of air filters now (haven't tried this yet). Thanks

its the black cold start device on the carb, mine had the same problem. Hard to get one too, get rid and get a yamaha nmax like i did

Super Video! Habe am Leo der länger stand alles neu bzw. gereinigt. Roller läuft. Geht aber beim Bremsen aus. Vermutung ist Schwimmernadel verklemmen oder Elektrisches da Benzinanzeige bei anschalten auf voll geht.

You do not have to use that much WD-40, just let small drips creep. A can will last forever. Nice to see this Ich habe eine zu einliche motor gefunden!

I may be late to this. but i have aprilia leonardo 150cc and you need air filter or it wont run at all if you are missing one piece of air filter it will not run. :)

My aprilia Leonardo 250 also has a stucking gas needle membrain, how did u fix the stuck needle?

Hi brother, very good job, I need to ask you something! I have a 150 leonardo, a buy from 1 guy don't used from long time! But know don't start and when I want to start it is losing gasoline from the pipe!! Do you thing is the carburatore dirty???

Hi, I`m trying to find out what the connection pipe is (seen under your thumb at 14mins) just under the "gas puller" as you say?

@@bikedogtor1663 I bought the scooter secondhand and have a problem with an occasional petrol leak. After taking a closer look at the carb in position, I noticed this assaid "pipe" sticking out the side of the carb has no tube connecting to it. I'm trying to find out what the pipe is for and whether it needs to be connected to something? Thanks

suche zu der Luftgemischschraube den oberen O-Ring weis jemand die passenden Durchmessermaße inkl. Dicke? Bitte kein 14€ O-Ring. Danke

the one i had ran great when it would sttart, the cold start device on the carb was fucked and really hard to get hold of. it was a nice scooter but a twat to start from cold, really a twat. got a yamaha nmax now.
