Wow has put 7k miles on it since I sold it. Has it got the original cylinder or the 140 bigbore on it...Also has it still got the piperx vortex cone filter on it as they are rare as chicken teeth 😁
@@BigBoyzToyz1974 had the 140 big bore on when I got the bike. Sent it to PJME with the original cylinder and had that rebuilt since the 140 seized on me after a coolant change so my fault. Airbox back on for winter, piper cross in storage. Bought a stainless steel exhaust system for the winter since the arrow was rusted to bits. Awesome bike.
Can't wait to derestrict mine! What a great video :D I got the 2009 model, so I think I need to buy a old cdi because I got told mine has a piaggio cdi which is quite restrictive
You will most likely have the phbh 28mm carburettor too that is very restricted you need the vhsb 34 ld has bigger jets more air intake not sure about the cdi but I think the newer ones do hit a Rev limiter at 10500 rpm..
@@BigBoyzToyz1974 Yikes. I think I might ask some people in a aprilia forum about the full process for de-restricting the bike (2009). The only thing I know which could be restrictive on it is the carb, cdi and probably the exhaust. Besides that the seller offered me to buy a pneumatic rave valve to a very great price. But I'm also not quite sure if its worth buying, because i suspect mine comes standard with the electronic one, hence it is a "new" model. Aprilia rs 125 RM
@@Subliminal3117 it might be blanked off if it was the restricted version but hopefully it’s all there for you. Make sure you adjust the cable correctly mine was too tight and if the valve pulls the solenoid out too far it won’t pull back when trying to activate
