Hi, Why do you wear these gloves and jackets in such heat? Do you feel choked?
@SammyOnWheels
@SammyOnWheels 6 месяцев назад
Hi bro, I didn’t wear a jacket for RS457’s ride. Just long sleeve Tshirt. But I did wear gloves for safety. Also I got used to the heat and luckily for approx 6 days around that time, hyderabad had low temperatures.

is it good for beginners
@SammyOnWheels

Depends, Like if you are just starting out with riding a bike, I would suggest going for a single cylinder first. Like gixxer sf 250 or CB300r or vitpilen 250. Once you feel confident riding around, you go for this.

As a experienced rider, I would not suggest any beginner to get Aprilia 457. This machine is literally for mad mans who are experienced with speed and who are able to balance the weight during cornering. That's why they call Aprilia 457 a 'Track Weapon' and 'Pocket Rocket'

How about heating? Did you face the heat on riders seat?
@SammyOnWheels
@SammyOnWheels 6 месяцев назад
As long as I was on the bike and riding it, I didn’t feel any heat bro. I rode it for like 80mins. Just once when I stopped to check my phone, I had the feeling that the fairing of the bike where my knee was in touch, became warm. Other than that, I felt heat management was good enough. Much better than GT650.

Bro there was some prblm with the bike while your shifting gear i heard lots of knocking sound…14:57 is the time where its happen..? Why that can u say something about it..?
@SammyOnWheels
@SammyOnWheels 6 месяцев назад
That knocking sound was becuz I was in higher gear and very low speed bro. If you notice the gear was 5th and I was trying to accelerate from 22kmph. That was way too low for the bike to gain speed in that gear. Then I was about to downshift gears. That was the tap sound that you might have heard just before the cut. Gear shifts wear a bit clicky tho not as smooth so that also contributed to the sound at that 14;57 point.

what about gear shiftings??? Smooth or clicky
@SammyOnWheels
@SammyOnWheels 6 месяцев назад
Gear shifts were actually clicky bro. Not smooth on the test ride vehicle. I actually spoke about it while riding but unfortunately my gopro died due to heat and didn’t go on record.

I took a test ride in Hyderabad and the gear box was super cluncky. The shifts were very hard and it always went to neutral from 1st instead of 2nd. Was difficult to find neutral even after stopping. Also the clutch had to be released almost full to move the bike ahead.. did u face this in test bike? When asked about this to salesperson he said it is because the first service was due so i took another slot after the service.. but the cluncky-ness was still there.. Did you get a chance to talk to real owners who got the delivery to know about their experience about the gear and clutch?
@jnana1985
@jnana1985 6 месяцев назад
I felt exactly the same about the clutch when I took a test ride in Bangalore.
@SammyOnWheels
@SammyOnWheels 6 месяцев назад
I felt the same bro for the gear box. It was super clunky. I talked about it while riding but unfortunately the gopro died due to summer heat and didn’t get captured on cam. and the clutch as well needed almost like a full release for the bike to get going. I got used to this while riding. The sales person said that in future, quickshifter will come as standard and it will see a price hike. I felt that clunky gearbox might be a reason for them to include it as a standard. Maybe it will either fix the clunkiness or it is like a workaround for clutch issue too. I haven’t been in touch with the owners because this bike is still fairly new, didn’t see one on the road yet. I hope to check with them soon if I get a chance.

I felt the same here in Marathalli Showroom, took ride on 16th April. Executive said it had run around 1600 km and no service done. For a new bike I felt a little weird, it felt like an old bike . Maybe just poor quality or Aprilia wants us to invest in their accessories.

140mm bro. Most of these kind of faired bikes have around 130mm or 140mm GC. 130mm needs a bit of care for example ninja 650. 140mm is fine for normal type of potholes and speed bumps. big ones can get tricky and you need just a bit of care.

How's bike ergonomics at 5.10 height
@SammyOnWheels
@SammyOnWheels 6 месяцев назад
I feel that from 5’8 to 5’11 this bike will suit them crazy. I actually had it on cam but couldn’t post it, where husband and wife came to showroom and when he sat on bike, his wife literally went like “dude, that suits so good on youuu!!”. I think he was 5’10 or 5’11.
