After owning over 40 or so motorcycles I finally decided to try an Aprilia. I bought a 2016 a year ago to check out the build and quality of Aprilia. I was influenced enough to then get 2017 Tuono Factory and 2015 Caponord Tour Pack. No problems with any of them, except they tend to get hot. The biggest negative I had with the Shiver was the weight. Thanks for the review.
I usually only keep a bike a year or so, but about 2 years with Cap. As I must spread my riding time between 4 or 5 motorcycles I don't put many miles on each. Since I sold the sport bikes this is my fun power bike. Never fails to start or has any problems on weekly rides. Too bad Americans don't understand how good Aprilia motorcycles are.
I like watching reviews of older bikes not all of us can afford the new bling bling 🤑 I remember this bike being one of the first to have flyby- wire although a little snatchy it was definitely the future. Another good watch keep up the good work and a happy new year to you and yours 🙏
Pretty fair review. Yes the braking is very confident, no surprise as the front brakes are the same as on the 180bhp Tuono. Before I saw this video I did in fact buy a 2014 with 4k miles, like new, for £3000 (with Arrow exhausts and Puig screen) so you are right, these are an absolute bargain and I agree they are super fun to ride. Girlfriend likes the back seat too. My only negative was that it was too tall for my stubby legs, but a 50mm-lowering Bitubo shock fixed that. Pity that Ape have closed down the Shiver line now. The Tuono 660 is nowhere near as nice, parallel twins, ugh.
*Amazing review of aprilla Shiver 750!Love the video editting especially the shooting of the bike details!Really so interesting! Thanks for sharing and happy new year to you!*
This is meaningful! This content makes me interested in your other hard work! Aprilia Shiver 750 - Ride & Review Of This Beast Of A Bike | Is It Worth A Punt? | British Biker 🇬🇧! Smooth intro. nicely done! Okay I loved this... 👍🏻 👀 👍🏻👍🏻
This bike is awesome! I only had it for three months, but had zero problems with it. The seat is really good, with a slight forward lean. I had a lot of days driving for about 6 hours without any back ache. The model i had had a little visor. Does nothing for windprotection, just for the look. A nice thing is that you don’t see a lot of them, So easy to find your bike between other bikes! And always nice if you come across a felow shiver. If your a bit taller.....no problem! I’m 6.4/193 cm and the ergonomics are very good. I tried a yahama mt07 and a kawasaki z750, two bikes who are comparable to the shiver (more expensive though) and i felt really cramped on those bikes. The average price for a decent model (2008/2009) is about 4000,- euro’s in Holland, with about 20.000 kilometers on it.
R V10 Soepel!
Great review! Nice bike. A joyful adventure. Beautiful place to explore to see those delightful views. Another awesome upload. Very nice sharing👍Happy New Year! From🇺🇸
Nice bike! You've said the review so well, my friend! The good thing in your reviews is that, you have a thorough research and experience before sharing it which made it believable for us to listen to. Lovely motorbike to ride on. Keep it up, my friend.
Hello my friend. That was one hell of a review. You nailed it. I keep saying over and over but the thing is I like about your reviews is it feels like we are riding along with you, your reviews are thorough and you manage to answer all my questions. Brilliant video my biker brother 👏. Stay safe and blessed.
Thank you Paul for your kind words buddy ❤️. Wishing you a very happy new year, full of blessings, success and of course health to you and all your loved ones 🙏
A really enjoyable review, very relevant information, plus I like that you show the bike not yourself, don't get me wrong I don't mean to offend, but alot of reviews are often guys in the pic rather than the bike and the never ride the bike much which I find self defeating. So great job mate 👍👍👍.
I am so glad you dropped this comment I totally agree and feel the same. Thank you for your support. Wishing you a very happy new year, full of blessings, success and of course health to you and all your loved ones 🙏
@@Bykersam yes it was an amazing deal. The one I'm looking at now is even nicer with low mileage for 3000 usd. The dealer support is really low out here so many are scared of the bike. I work on my own bikes so I'm not worried about that.
Wow, such a wonderful motorbike, your review and the place you share too 👌👌👌👌👌 Good job my dear new friend 👍 but keep safe 🙋 Wishing you a very very happy naw year 🙋
Thank you for the presentation my friend 🙏 Have a healthy and happy new year for you and your family 👪 God bless you and have safe traveling Like 👍 👍 👍 🙏 🙋♂️ 👋
Wow such a beautiful motorbike ❤️ really enjoy your riding as always 🥰 thanks for sharing dear 🥰 wishing you a Happy New year 🥰 May it be filled with New adventures and good fortunes🥂🍾🎉🎊
An excellent review and I especially liked your ride down the scenic narrow roadway. I enjoyed to the 10:39 end. Thank you my friend. Wishing you a Happy New Year 2022!
@@Bykersam I’d seriously consider it if I wasn’t so satisfied with my Honda NT650GT Hawk / Bros. It has a lot less horses on board but only weighs 181 kg when fully tanked up, which is 8 kg less then a dry Shiver, or the Suzuki SV 650 for that matter. It’s so flickable and has just enough power to really have fun without loosing your license. Only one true weakness. The tank only contains 10 l. So I put one from a Revere on it which can hold 19 l. So that adds about 10 kg when topped up but it still remains as lightfooted as ever. Cheers!
Binging on your December videos - Thanks for keeping us on your adventures, and as always the best bike reviews (didn't know you include forum chatters too - that's so comprehensive). Love the look of Shiver 750 - reminds me of my first ever bike (sort of)
Just getting a 2008 . It's a great looking bike. I was looking at a Monster 796 or so but this is awesome.. a bargain. It has LeoVince cans on it. I am going to add a Puig Next Gen windscreen and a set of CRG Aero bar end mirrors on. Maybe soft saddle bags and a small tank bag
Very nice video i love your video is so good uppload more videos like this is so interesting the videos about this topic and thank you for the excellent sharing of 👍🏻your videos about interesting topics🇪🇦
Thank you buddy, it means alot to me when fellow motovloggers visit ❤️. Wishing you a very happy new year, full of blessings, success and of course health to you and all your loved ones 🙏.
Great review, we have never seen one of these here in Canada, but will definitely keep an eye out. Keep the adventures coming. Peace & Positivity Always ☮💟☮💟
Awesome bike and great review. You did a good job and the road test is nice and has beautiful views too. Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy new year.
A very detailed review indeed . I don’t own a bike and never have and probably never will but I still enjoyed every second of your review 😮 Your footage is perfect against this review . Ps . How many bikes do you own ~ asking for a friend 😂 Happy new year from The Whitsundays, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺 👋 ol mate 👌
Older bikes are better anyway, built to last, bulletproof engines 🤘 looks a lovely bike, nice and nippy, great for those who love a bike you can probably throw around. Sounds like it has a typical Italian gearbox, the Ducati’s are the same. Great review mate 🤘
Thank you buddy, appreciate alot your humbling comments ❤️. Wishing you a very happy new year, full of blessings, success and of course health to you and all your loved ones 🙏
I can relate to this video as I have an 09 shiver GT ABS. The only issue I have with it is the low speed fuelling stutter which is annoying in town but as it is not a commuter I can live with it. In an ideal world I would have a HondaNC 750 as well best of both worlds. Great video as usual.
Enjoy your reviews as always. However, was that you riding without gloves?? Naughty naughty! Lol. On a serious note, it sounds like a really good and cheap option as 2nd bike. Thank you for the review.
Assalam Aleikam Zishan. I was on a med cruise and hired the bike with no motorcycle gear whatsoever. Though I ended up riding it exactly 1,005 km in one day, 2 fuel tank refills and visited over 8 distant sites including 3 national parks, a very tough day without gloves 🧤☺️😉. Wishing you a very happy new year, full of blessings, success and of course health to you and all your loved ones 🙏.
I love your reviews and the places you share meanwhile with us. It was an amazing and a frantic experience the different rides in the hyperlapse mod. BIG like 👍
Interesting choice of bike, mate. I really love the look of it. You rode some pretty bad streets there. Looked very bumpy. But I love such narrow mountain roads. 😉Did you catch the biker? Very nice review as usual, my dear friend. 🤘👌 Happy New Year.
Watch your review on the Shiver. Very nice ...it really is a futuristic looking model. Crunchy gears are like the older types use to have and that is a good comment to put in there. Thanks for showing us your channel and we have subscribed.
