In this video we install a headlight guard on Cody's Aprilia Tuareg 660. We then re-install the windscreen that we removed before repairing the navigation bar in the last video.

That really was easy. Thank you for the heads up on those nuts resting in the pockets! I definitely would have dropped one (or all of them) had you not warned me ahead. ❤

Just did the mod, works perfect. I used a little duct tape behind the screen nuts which i can hopefully just rip off when the new screen goes back on . Thanks

Awesome! The duct tape is a great idea. We used painters tape because it doesn't leave any residue.

I put exactly the same guard on my Tuareg and it is a bit preventing the high-beam light so i bended the guard a bit up and now good. Sometimes buzzed when touching the wind-shield on the bottom then i applied some soft rubber between.

After hearing it rattle off-road, I put a trim piece across the bottom as well.

I used some E6000 adhesive to fix the nuts into the plastic sleeves. Sturdy enough to keep them in place, not so tough that they cannot be removed.

Sounds good. Glad you found an easy fix for this as well!

How was it so easy for you? I can't get the bolts out because the nuts aren't sitting snugly in their cradles, they just spin with the bolts and I can't get a spanner or anything to grip the nuts due to the cradle

It sounds like the nuts weren't fit into the cradles properly. Try taking a putty knife, a piece of string or something else to pull out on the screw head while you loosen it. Another thing you could try is using Adrial or impact driver that turns a lot faster. Hope you get it figured out and please let us know your progress.

A small amount of Superglue works easier on the Windscreen nuts to stay in place
