Hello. Can you describe to me how you hook up the grips electricity speaking?

Daniel Orth - hey, yes I connected them directly to the battery with the wires you get with the kit. Everything else plugs into each other and I routed the cables down the left side of the bike starting from the headstock and then between the frame and the engine, through the seat fairing. I am away am working at the moment but I can post some pictures in 2 weeks.

@@sprockets_shafts So the grips will stay powered even with the key in the off position? Pictures when you get back would be great!

Daniel Orth yes but they have a built in safety cut off if you leave them on and will switch off themselves. Or you can obviously power them down yourself. They can be wired into a ‘ignition switched’ live if you thats what you prefer.

Daniel Orth yes oxford safety cut off - something to do with when there is a slight change in voltage on the battery., the heated grip unit recognises it and switches off.

How did you route the cables from the grips, I struggled to get the connectors through any of the tight gaps, in the end I have the connections joined up just above the radiator.

I routed them down the side of the headstock, above the top of the radiator and down the inside of the the frame towards the side seat fairing. There is just enough space for the cables to go through but it is tight. I tie wrapped the cables as the y pass the radiator so they dont touch
