Nice roads and video! I can't decide betwen the v4r and the 1290 ktm, both second hand... own a st3 r now. The aprilia is fun on twisty roads or it's more confortable on very fast sweepers? Fuel economy is better on the ktm but it's pricier, so no real difference...
I there Vale... Thank you for your comments. If i may, i have tried the 1290 and obviously the Tuono V4. To be honest, the 1290 is more comfortable, have a better fuel economy and go faster on a straight line. But, the Tuono V4 have something special. She can be ride faster everywhere. She is an excellent track day bike. The electronics work better and they are easier to use. And for me, the best of all, the sound she makes. Before the Tuono i had an RSV4 and before the RSV4 i had a KTM RC8 R... i prefer a lot more the Aprilia. But steel, the best you can do is to go to a dealership and test drive them both... Enjoy and be careful on the roads...
Thanks for replying! Yes, you said what i already suspected, the tv4 has the best handling package. I will try them both if i can and then choose... my first love was the tv4, then i shifted to the superduke because of comford, fuel economy and maybe reliability. But i keep coming back to the tuono.
Oh well, the bike has still to come, first i have to sell the street r! :-), but i took a good look and sat on both, like the ergos of the Tuono more and it's a good 3000€ less second hand right now... so i'm pretty sure it's going to be the Ape. Screw the fuel economy lol
Salut! Le Tuono V4 est une machine qui consomme beaucoup oui. En bourrant un peut tu arrive a 9/11l au 100km. Elle as eu quelques améliorations pour 2014. Notamment un ABS est quelque litre en plus dans le réservoir. Moi je fait 140km en mode bourrin et 240km bien stable sur autoroute. Appart ca, pour moi, c'est le meilleur roadster du marcher. J'ai pu essayer entre temps la S1000R, Z1000, etc... je préfère mon bout de bois qui envoie du lourd... :p
