definitely going to get one of those. worth noting they're so heavy you need a wall or ceiling mount, or maybe one of those expensive stands from balazs
Kind of a weird question but do you happen to know what the thickness of the U-shaped hook is? I just ordered my own bruiser bag and wanted to see if the quick link i have would fit it or if i would need to buy another one.
Nice. Water bags are definitely less stressful on the joints. After Canelo's hand injury, he used water bags along with Winning gloves. Can't get more protective than that. By the way, are you going to review those Everlast MX fight gloves?
they are great on water bags but even after they tried to add more foam to the knuckles post maidana mayweather nightmere 2k15 the newer mx fg have better knuckle protection its still by far the least protective most damaging on your opponents fg there is
so youre a gear junkie like me, haha, welcome ot the club, i love what youre doing you really get a lot of the mid level gear i dont get a chance to see and i love it, if you need anything ever let me know happy to always talk boxing and boxing gear, try some of the mexican companies an mex americans like adonis garcia, esp the colors are goofy, and then theres like jc pacheco lopez casanova campeon classics etc, i really love muay gloves even though i have nothing to do w it like the fairtex windy cities ad boon, nice classic look as well
In terms of pros and cons, these water bags are way better than traditional bags! I love not aching and not having stiff joints from the water bags. They better resemble the feel of punching a human body, compared to those sand filled bags. You won't bust up the padding in your gloves as fast as you would vs a traditional bag. In all honesty, I've become so used to water filled bags(over the yrs), that I dread working out on traditional bags! My gym has some by Everlast, Title, aqua Bag, and a few other companies, I like the Aqua bag ones best. I find the Aqua Bag ones have the best quality design I like this new design that U've tested, might order me one for home.
you shold test the product that adds arms and assorted limbs to attach to bags, wish they would develop an aqua version surrounding some form of bendable piping to conform different shapes, it really is a good tool for beginners to learn angles step counter under and around and so many other tactics
I do like the bags they are great on the joints and feel great when you hit them. Hiwever, i had 4 water bags like these and the all developed a crack and all leaked after several months. None lasted a year. 6 months max
