@@obxsurfandsoundfishing4085 it’s pretty cool for trolling. You can only view the footage once you connect to a computer though since it has no live feed back to a screen or anything. The video quality is actually pretty solid, but this video was shot in a very green, weedy lake with pretty significant algae blooms most of the year. One thing to be aware of is that the drag from the camera will bend a normal pretty good and can make it difficult to tell when you actually get a bite to set the hook. Works best with things like cranks and trebles where the fish tend to hook themselves. When trolling this I use a musky rod with 80lb braid to the camera and then a fluoro leader from the camera to the bait much lighter than my main line. This is so if the bait snags on something the leader snaps way before I would lose the camera. It’s cool to learn how fish react to your baits, but I think you will catch fewer fish WHILE using it simply because it’s harder to detect bites and set the hook. While pike fishing I have noticed that I almost have as many pike attack the camera as the bait.
Was this video supposed to impress us into buying your product ?? If so , what did I miss ???? I’ve been researching this product and all I can find are negative reviews . Is it me , or isn’t there any quality under water cameras out there to attach to a rod and reel ,in the U.S. ??? I’m not looking for anything that has a monitor with it , just something like the gofish camera , which is now apparently been discontinued with the exception of their existing customers, according to their website.
It’s not supposed to impress you into anything. I don’t care if you buy the product or not since it’s not “my product”. I have one, I don’t sell them or work for them. It’s just a video of the very first time I tried to troll this thing, not an advertisement to sell shit.
