We have pretty nasty water here in our Central Florida home with extremely high total dissolved solids (TDS). Depending on where you live, a high TDS isn't necessarily a bad thing because some minerals may be beneficial in drinking water. See our water testing videos on this channel to see exactly what's in our local municipal water. We filter our drinking and cooking water thoroughly, and thought maybe filtering our shower water with the AquaBliss SF100 might provide some protection.
We installed the AquaBliss SF100 in our shower. It was inexpensive and easy to install. The water seems to feel a little softer, maybe due to the minerals the filter contains and distributes in its filtering process. AquaBliss does state there may be no reduction in TDS, but after seeing a 30 PPM increase in our results, we are left wondering if anything at all is filtered in the process.
