I’ve hand vacuumed my Olympic size in ground for the past 10 years . Today because of your videos I got my aquabot classic platinum from in the swim in the mail .... dropped it in my pool and away it went . 3 hours later my pool was pristine .... I could kick myself for not getting one sooner . Thank you for all the great videos ! I shall enjoy my margarita and cigar when I would have been sweating trying to hand vaccum for hours
Just out of curiosity, do you think it would be a possibility to get replacement decals for my aqua bot Junior? I don't know if I should contact the manufacturer but if you have any ideas please let me know. the stickers on mine are faded and they look horrible
I have an older Hayward Ultra and might have to upgrade to this new cleaner. Question, do you have an Android app you prefer to use to keep track of the daily or weekly chemical pool tests? I found Pool Pal, but was wondering if there was a better option. Thanks for the advice.
+Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To -MrDgvb1 ok, thanks. Thanks for the quick response. Your videos have helped us a lot. We're first time pool owners..
why is there not a setting to auto reverse sitting at the wall for 1-5 minutes grinding away at the drive belts. ? If a 60.00 vacuum can auto turn when hitting something; why can't a 1200 roboto auto turn vs sitting at a wall most of its life ?
This is my second Aquabot Classic and I love them but right now I have a problem with my unit which is still under warranty. It had the brown drive belt tangle up with a set of goggles and break. I have the new ones and was told by Aqua Products to go on RU-vid to find out how to install. So far I have not help. Someone please help.
the driving belts; small brown grind themselves to breaking in a short while if the robot cannot move forward. Bad design to now have a clutch/slip or auto reverse like any 60.00 vacuum clean with smarts ! Expensive to replace the small timing belts every month when the robot does not climb walls or stairs. Why is there no auto reverse afte 30 seconds to change direction and auto reverse ?
the worst investment I've made. NO intelligence at all. Destroys itself. Does not climb on ceramic tiles. why is there not a setting to auto reverse sitting at the wall for 1-5 minutes grinding away at the drive belts. ? If a $60.00 vacuum house cleaner can auto turn when hitting something; why can't a $1200.00 robot auto turn vs sitting at a wall most of its life ?
You should contact them - Jeff Murray is the person at Aquabot that is the most responsive to problems from customers. Each model is designed for specific needs. This one does a lot of wall climbing for pools that need that. They make several models that spend more time on the bottom and less time climbing - maybe you can return this one in exchange for a model more for your needs.
