Some folks are really upset I didn’t go through the instructions to do a full set up. That wasn’t the intent of this video. If I decide to use these products for sure, I will do it more in depth set up video for each one read the instructions and follow them carefully. Honestly, I was just trying to make a fun video. Have fun look at weird products and talk about it that’s all I really wanted to do. I’m sorry if that disappointed you.
Thats good to know. Looks like they have been around for 35 years or so. I've never seen them (or maybe noticed) that brand name here in our stores. And Ive been in bunches. But a lot of these brands seem more localized than other products.
I've been using this reputable Polish company's products (3 shrimp tanks, 3 pumps, 3 LED lights) for about four years and I found them very well designed, reliable and at the same time affordable. I ended up attaching third party double sponges to the internal filter pumps since their connections support that too and they've been doing a fantastic job silently and effectively beyond their original specifications for four years. I can just confidently recommend anything AQUAEL.
It’s interesting I like to use the pump on the intake and use it in the tank but seems like it’s a little loosely on the basket… looking forward to see the review!!
First I’ve heard of them but yeah when I looked them up they have been at it for 35 years or so. Strange I’m just seeing it now. I love discovering new companies when you think you’ve seen them all. There’s so much out there to find.
I did a filter like that and it didn't do crap for me. I used a hard granular cat litter and it didn't help my tank at all. Maybe I didn't do it right but I went back to what I had.
One feature missing in heaters is Smart Home functionality. It should have a Thread radio and report its Temperature via the Matter standard to your google, apple, or amazon assistants. Wait?! You can stack the cartridges to customize the size? " Fill them with BioHome Gravel > kitty litter. Aqua L" is awesome.
I used the Multikani for years and can ensure you that it is deadly silent outside the tank. You need to touch it to know its running. Even if you put your ear close to it you will not hear any hum, at all.
However my best advice is to buy the pump alone which is the MK 800 (this pump has been used on the old model Midikani 800). The canister itself is hard to open in my opinion. The hosing for the pump is 14/18mm so it can go with 16/22mm hosing (you need a hose clamp to make sure it stays)
It looks interesting. As Regina mentioned, cleaning it could be annoying. My biggest concern would be how water tight it is. I’ll be curious to see how you use it.
Absolutely Im going to set up some garage tanks with it I think and see how it does. But it was a little difficult to screw together . Im refraining from criticism till I read the instructions.
Aquael sent some items to my local aquarium club for raffle prizes as well as for board members to try out. The heaters work really good, canister filters are ok, but the instructions are not that great. It is almost like they were originally written in whatever language the company is native from and then a literal translation done and not proofread by someone who speaks English.
Good idea with the pan, and such a strange concept, I mean, it seems like an obvious thing to develop but with water leaking and mineral build-up it might be, uh, questionable? I use their LED lights and Patmini filters a lot and they've worked perfectly well for all sorts of applications so they're definitely capable of making competent things - this just seems a bit too risky for me!
Yes I will start off with a garage project and play with it. For BCB folks that don't need to disassemble it periodically to clean if you can get it to not leak from go it's fine. Ultimately this may be something I make into something else.
Why are you promoting Aqua-el and yet your logo is upside down? Come on my friend, we are here for YOU. Promote your own brand as well or better than you promote others.😉 The proportional temperature control intrigues me.
This is a car crash unboxing/1st impressions video. If a company bothers to send you kit for evaluation, at least have some dignity towards your long term viewers to read the instructions and understand how to set things up properly. No one's interested in your guess, guesses makes messes in the fishy game! Step up your game pektec, your content is usually better than this weak sauce. ❤😊
“The dignity of my viewers” 😂🤪 it said right in the title unboxing the first impressions. All I guarantee to the companies that I’ll show it. I don’t promise to use it. I don’t promise to like it. and the first step is un boxing and seeing what’s intuitive. My long term viewers know exactly how I do things.
First after this guy below me. Interesting product looking forward to your review in a few weeks or months. Aqua-eel lol. Bad move on the instruction. I always follow it cause that is how they make it. Figuring it out 50% something goes wrong or not using it properly or breaks down etc. To me, the instruction is my reference. Especially new products that I had never seen before or how they work or what's it for etc. Look forward to the follow-up vids Sean!
As long as I have been watching RU-vid videos , it's been all too common for a couple of Monkey see🙊 Monkey do🙉 Creators are just a little different in front of the bright lights and, besides the important information is always on the bov . 😂
I don’t understand any of stoneys response. As for Gabor I pull this stuff out and look at it before I commit to putting it in place. Sometime I nope out. So I’m not going in deep on how it works till it’s time to use it. This wasn’t an instruction video.
@@pecktec Oh, I recon Sean. But it was entertaining just to watch you sweatin' a few times ... Oh all right I did laugh a few times, but this is the other reason why I'm watching your videos. Anyways best of luck with that tower filter. I wonder if it catches on. How much are they going to sell it for? PS: Sean, if others don't see the humour in it then it's their loss, right?
