Hydroflask, thermoflask, and aquaflask are using the same technology and are manufacture for like ~300php each. But some are more expensive because you're paying for the name and status symbol.
Durability and quality wise, Hydroflask is better Super tight seal unlike other brands that is cheaper but not as sturdy and long lasting as Hydroflask or klean kanteen.
I have a Thermoflask, Hydroflask and Aquaflask... it seems that my Thermoflask which i bought in Hawaii for 20 USD holds the Ice longest. I always fill all my flasks with Ice to the brim and also use ice cold water to fill them as well. Ice on my thermoflask stays for upto 32 hours. The Hydroflask has ice for upto 27 hrs. The Aquaflask has Ice for upto 25 hrs. The aquaflask seems to be the most practical from a price standpoint and it does maintain cold water for 24 hrs but it's no longer Ice cold water. just like water from your refrigerator. My most preferred in keeping ice cold water is the Thermoflask though. Just my personal experience.
I got both and to be honest it’s just the same, hydro flask is more on hype and status but aqua flask seems to be very practical as the lid is extremely functional.
Thanks for this review and great content. I do have the Aqua Flask and chose it for budget concerns. Basically would not need cold water on a 24-hour basis though. Average use for me would be 8 to 12 hours tops.
yeah but then you'd have to buy another aquaflask again because hydroflask's the more durable one as seen with their builds. plus, it provides a lifetime warranty.
I just bought Aquaflask with a standard screw-on cap (the same as you have on your video) the other day and put the flask on ice cold retention test. Interestingly, the flask could held the ice about 32 hours but flask is just sitting in a room temperature. I think the only difference between the two brands is the lid cap as the standard screw-on cap for Aquaflask seems to show condensation while being tested with ice in it for 24 hours. However, according to a source Aquaflask have insulated flex cap which has a vacuum seal that provides excellent temperature retention. So that will be an extra purchase, if you will. But function-wise, both flasks do a great job. It's only a matter of preference. Love both brands. :)
Kung mahilig ka mag lagay ng softdrinks juice or alak mas maganda hydroflask nawawala ang amoy after wash pero ung aquaflask naiiwan ang amoy at parang may amoy lata ang aquaflask. 3aquaflask at 3din hydroflask namin same talaga.
I have a 40 oz Aquaflask. I filled it with ice and water, then left it at home for 24 hours. When I checked it, there was still some ice left, although not as much as before. It really keeps the ice for a long time.
I actually have both brands, I prefer Hydro flask because it also comes with a rubber case at the bottom to prevent scratches when placed at rough surfaces.
Nah based on my research Aquaflask is better if you buy the Aquaflask accessories u would get a rubber case for the body, bottom and a handle also 3 types of straw lids
@@ambalim4614 He owns both Brands, unless your Research is not just judgement-based and you actually have the Products to insert your own Hypothesis, Conclusions or Opinions to be viewed at the same level as someone who literally uses both, if not even Thermoflask.
Hydro has unlimited warranty and thats a major win for me. Pinalitan nila ng bago yung akin after 4.5 years after di na gumana ung insulation, kahit may dents na. Just take a picture of your receipts
I got an aqua flask..comparing them both has only little difference..but aqua flask, i like the shape (looks more expensive than the other)..and with its style of grip, it's easy to carry..
I hope you can update your review by putting the same amount of ice on both bottles at the same time so you can observe the lasting power (in terms of coldness) of the bottles.. i've been a hydroflask user for a long time but Im thinking of buying aquaflask too.. my hydroflask's ice (40 oz) lasts more than 24hrs.. depends on how often I open it... So i wonder how the aquaflask would do
Aqua flash is kinda malambot. I accidentally dropped it and leaves dimple on it. Hydro flask on the other hand is sturdier. It slipped from my bag and rolled over on the cement stairs, scratches are there but no dimples anywhere.
How about the stainless steel used. As I know grade 304 or 319 stainless steel is better because in the long run it will not rust so I want to know what stainless steel these two flasks use
Aquaflask: The inner part is made of stainless steel grade 304, while the outer side is made of grade 201 (higher manganese content) that makes the material durable
Both the Hydroflask and Aquaflask have the same technology used in their bottles but the only difference is that you're only paying more on Hydroflask because of the branding. Don't get me wrong both products are great and durable but I'd rather buy the Aquaflask not because I can't afford the Hydroflask(which I can) but because I don't want paying more just because of a brand. Besides, Aquaflask is way popular than Hydroflask.
If you want better insulation and contribute in saving the environment then go for klean kanteen. They are a certified B company, climate neutral certified and member of 1% for the planet rather than opting out for the hydroflask which is all about hype and no certifications in sustaining the environment, but if you have a tight budget then you can choose the aquaflask.
I bought mine from duty free last 2019 . I didnt have any idea that in 2022 it will be that hit and a subject of social status.. i bought because i need it in the office for my coffee.
During my vacation in Pinas I bought Aquaflask in different colors and sizes as well as the accessories like paracord handle, protective silicone boot sleeve with safety ring. (SM Seaside Cebu) I don't have Hydroflask because it's quite mahal and the design is simple. Gamit kaayo dzai ug dzong sa work. Nakagamit sad ko diay ug Quantum before.
I'll go for Aquaflask. nabili ko ung akin last month 40oz and accidentally kong nahulog sa table and surprisingly walang dent or anything puno ng water ung flask that time.
it shouldn't be because if that happens, it is deffective. In the stipulated warranty if it shows a sign of sweating it could be replaced by the store.
Aquaflask is enough for me.. I don’t need a cold water for 24 hours or more, as long as it can give me cold water during working hours.. it’s good n for me.. depende cguro s lifestyle
I ain't buying that hydro flask it cost 2k plus what?even though its better i would go for aqua its much cheaper and can actually lasted long like hydro and i would finish it before it last 1 day
Yung mga insulated and vacuum bottles po kapag nilagay niyo po sa refrigerator ay hindi po lalamig since it's coated po dahil they sustain the temperature of the liquid inside the bottle.
Hi!
Please which is better im on tyt budget po ung durable sana . Pde na ba ang Aquaflask?? Kasi ofw aq nag work sa barko kailangan q ung mahulog sa metal d agad masira? Waiting for your reply po subscribe na din po
Ako normal water lang pinang huhugas ko.okay naman sya...and last time nahulog sya akala ko mawawala na lamig pero hindi at ganun padin sya..Good buy talaga
Di ko pa po na tried mag lagay ng hot coffee for 15-20 hrs however i have tried to put hot tea sa hydro flask for 4 hrs lang kasi I drank it. It turns out na mainit pa siya. I think both can last kasi insulated bottles sila pero sa hydro flask mas tatagal siguro ang init kasi mas makapal ang lid niya kaysa aquaflask.
Di po ako familiar sa kool na brand and I haven't tried it. All i can say is ok naman ang aquaflask because it's cheap and you have a lot of colors to choose from. Tumagal naman ang lamig if you put cold water.
Hello. As with regards to aquaflask i think it is not interchangeable however for the hydro flask yes you can change the cap/lid (mine is the wide mouth flex sip lid) but if you don’t like this type of cap you can replace it with the regular wide mouth flex cap.
for that price you can obviously tell those are fakes. Hydroflasks cost 2k+ php, go see it for yourself before you start yapping in the comment section
I think you, if you really want to share very useful reviews for the two products, you need to still do the hot water test despite you not used to drinking hot coffee in the office. You're testing thermo tumblers not just cold drink tumblers. Just to share since I rely on reviews to the products I buy and use. The cold water review is useful tho. Thanks.
