This is the first 'grown up' movie that I really really liked when I was in my early adolescence. It’s extra special because a friend of mine showed it to me. My friend passed away from a terrible illness and this movie always reminds me of those times, when life was so much simpler and my friend was alive.
This happened to me,we didn't end up together, but haven't forgot about each other,I got married and 6 years later a divorce,He was still single and we found each other again,we rekindled our relationship,on and off we were for 27 years
I believe anyone who has ever Lost Love in your relationship should watch this movie. It shows where every love should be like, fun, carefree, and and spontaneous. I cried my eyes out because it took me back to a times when things were fresh and new and wonder if we have the strength to get back to that! This is our life!
I've been hurt before, many...many times I would say. Sometimes I used to think that there's one else for me out there, that I only exist to get hurt by the people that I care about. But one day, without knowing I met the most beautiful and kindest girl I ever met and I got scared but I wasn't scared because I thought she wasn't the one, it's because I knew she was. She makes me a better man.
I think everyone wants a love that lasts a lifetime. People try to entice themselves with money, with ideas, and an illusion of what should be love. But in the end sometimes, it just has to bloom.
i never understood before I never knew what love was for My heart was broke, my head was sore What a feeling Tied up in ancient history I didn’t believe in destiny I look up you're standing next to me What a feeling What a feeling in my soul Love burns brighter than sunshine Brighter than sunshine Let the rain fall, I don't care I'm yours and suddenly you're mine Suddenly you're mine And it's brighter than sunshine I never saw it happening I'd given up and given in I just couldn't take the hurt again What a feeling I didn't have the strength to fight Suddenly you seemed so right Me and you What a feeling What a feeling in my soul Love burns brighter than sunshine It's brighter than sunshine Let the rain fall, I don't care I'm yours and suddenly you're mine Suddenly you're mine It's brighter than the sun It's brighter than the sun It's brighter than the sun, sun, shine. Love will remain a mystery But give me your hand and you will see Your heart is keeping time with me What a feeling in my soul Love burns brighter than sunshine It's brighter than sunshine Let the rain fall, I don't care I'm yours and suddenly you're mine Suddenly you're mine I got a feeling in my soul ...
Oliver Martin (Ashton Kutcher): Emily, I'm flat broke. I don't have a job. I don't have a plan. And I know, I know I'm probably six years too late, but will you give me strike one back?
Love Amanda Peet. I watch this movie as often as possible (currently 8 times) A great feel good movie. Ashton Kutcher brings out the best in the actresses he co-stars with.
me too. the movie works with guys, that's rare. cult movie: unsuccessful at the box office but immensely loved by community of fans. You just dream it happens to you. Yes, girls and ladies, we dream of this, too.
I haven't heard this song in years but heard it last week in an episode of Schitt's Creek. This song and movie still make my heart go into knots with the idea that no matter how much time passes, we can still have something magical happen to us! BTW, I think that episode of Schmitt's Creek was Dan Levy's best yet! #Fangirl #David #Patrick #Brighter Than Sunshine~
One of my all time favorite movies along with the breakfast club... Movie tears me up everytime... hard not to connect to this when you live for love..
I love this song and movie. Reminds me so much of the one who got away. I've known her since the 9th grade and she saved my life. Every few years, we see each other. Although she's now married and has children, I count myself lucky to still have her friendship 20+ years later...Never felt that way about anyone else, which is why I'll probably never marry. If only I knew back then...
Ashton Kutcher was my celebrity crush when I was younger, and he still is. As a teen, I had photos of him plastered everywhere in my room, even in my binders and on my folders for school. And I basically watched every movie he was in. I was like obsessed when I was younger. Lol. But even now, he is still just as good looking as when I first saw him, if not even more ;) And I absolutely love this movie and song!
Great song - Great movie! I love this - for some reason. Who knows why? I just really like it! The photographs have a lot to do with this movie, perhaps that's why I like this film so much!
This movie always reminds me of my past girlfriend that we were off and on again relationship over a few years, and she would be in a relationship and I wouldn’t and vice versa. We got together again one last time before breaking it off. Then one day, she took her own life, and it was the most painful experience I ever felt. She looked a lot like Amanda Peet in the film. I really, really miss her so much.
Ich habe diesen Film vor ein paar Jahren an einem Sonntag Nachmittag gesehen und diese Liebesgeschichte hat mich sehr berührt. Die Liebe macht uns Menschen so wertvoll.
When this movie came out on dvd was one of the best times of my life. Wish I could go back. I'd tell that girl I had real feelings for her. I miss her and my life back then.
i moved to virginia in second grade and the first person i met was becki blue. we've known each other for ten years now. now its senior year and we've become the best of pals. but what she doenst know is she means the world to me. becki if you're reading this, know you're more than just my sunshine.
I'm typically a horror fan and I don't do romance but I'm going to have to say this movie got me it's one of my faves I was 19 when this movie came out went to see it with a friend and absolutely fell in love with it
I love this film so much and this song is do good that it make me believe in something like love can be if it's a lot like this and of course a lot like love😍😘❤️😊😂😆💃😍❤️😘
Amo amo esta película 💖💘💖. Sé que no es la pieza maestra, pero de verdad que es agradable ver un filme lindo y sencillo. El carisma de Ashton me mata. Y suelo identificarme con Emily (siempre olvido el nombre de la actriz).
Dean, I was literally looking for a current comment! I'm spending my Friday night watching A lot like love on DVD right now wishing it was 2005 again. Glad to see likeminded people here :)
