It always bothered me how the Transformers paint looked worn and scratched when they were robots. But was clean, shiny and perfect when they transformed into cars.

Okay so Aquaman thoughts: beautiful movie, good action, somewhat intriguing world But at the same time I feel like it was so all over the place and incessantly ridiculous without having good enough characters to ground it in that I just couldn't be very invested in it.

i def felt there was one part of aquaman where i was like "....now, why did they do that?" the whole scene of the pirate taking apart that atlantian tech suit and building his own....who is this guy? some closet tony stark?...hes a freaking pirate, not some physicist engineer genius. surprised you guys didnt remember this....totally un needed, should have just received the suit how it ended up looking from the start from the atlantians, i was watching that scene with my head in my hands shaking my head. Ultimately though, i enjoyed the movie, way more depth in the "bad guy", much more world building, and a decent moving story, it wasnt amazing, but i liked it a lot.
I did get a "Why did they do that?" while watching Aquaman, during the submarine scene at the beginning where there was a slow-mo shot of Aquaman but the frame rate was very low. That cannot be a style choice right?
I'm super baffled at your criticism of Aquaman. I felt that they stuck true to the story and leaned hard into the lore, which made it great. This is coming from a big fan of Aquaman, so I have a bit of a bias...

It was a safe movie with great action.I saw every plot point come a while away except Aquaman letting Manta's Father die and even that was a very small part of the movie.
Aquaman did the right thing by not taking itself seriously. It would have been a massive mistake if they tried to make it gritty and realistic. I was so happy with what we got.
I've done the limb lengthening thing on one leg in Florida. It's definitely not worth it on both legs as an elective procedure (I had to do it because of a condition). Took me a long time to get used to standing in place. Only got an inch taller.
Did anyone notice at 6:16 when he is parodying who let the dogs out that the actual barking goes exactly to the beat of the song he is referencing???? Was that added in post editing or what? It is literally perfectly timed
I enjoyed Aquaman, best DCU, but I felt like could have been two movies just to ease us into the world easier, there was a lot of lore for one movie. Also Atlantis looked pretty well off, no signs of anything negative from the surface world, could have shown more of that. Oh and I noticed that when Aquaman was escaping the city they turned and fired the turrets at him.... and presumably the city?
The transformers looking like they did in G1 didn't really do much for me. I grew up with the original Robots in Disguise, Beast Wars, and the Unicron trilogy. For me it was normal to see different takes on characters for each series. And Optimus wasn't even a flat nosed truck until Energon. So I was fine with the redesigns of the films. I don't hate the G1 style designs for this movie, but they seem a little too simplistic. Dropkick and Shatter seemed to be an attempt to balance the more detailed look of the previous films and the smooth and colorful look of the Cyberton scenes.
I’m dying for Star Wars. I don’t like this break. Please just make 3 movies a year as long as they’re good. It’s like game of thrones, can’t get enough of that universe.
China will more than make up for it. Plus if word of mouth is good, they can make a pretty buck at the box office. Even maybe have a run like The Greatest Showman
Aquaman is hot garbage. So boring and so incredibly stupid. I wanted to like it, but it was shockingly dumb. The two main characters are also INTOLERABLE.
