Arthur: *specifically tells her to convey his empathy to Clark* Clark: *specifically asks if Arthur said anything else because he suspected he'd say something* Wonder Woman: "Nah, he didn't say anything lul"
@@JasonAstraea she didnt But when lois died during the Joker fiasco and after removed the dictator in the middle east Wonder Woman was happy Lois lane is out of the picture just so she can have supes to herself
@@bobdylan1968 Indeed, though he might have turned out differently if she delivered Authors message. He is a much wiser and more experienced ruler, a benevolent king. If Clark had had him advice him instead of just Wonder Woman and a bunch of yes saying teammates he might not have made some of those mistakes he did. He'd still turn into a dictator and villain without any doubt. But perhaps, just perhaps, not as evil of one. But maybe this is just wishful thinking on my part
@@brucejedilee5290 without Diana supes probably wouldn't have turned into a villain. A murderer, yes. But still a hero. All the doubts he had were about killing people to save people, Diana straight up told him to become a dictator and to manage everything since he could.
@@endeav0r_49 Yes, she carries a lot of the blame but Superman choose to listen to her. Wonder Woman didn't make him do anything, it was always Supermans choice to follow her advise rather than to think for himself. No one is responsible for anothers actions, it is always the one who acts that is to blame or to be hailed for their choices. The only exception being if someone is literally being controlled by another person, as in having no control of their own body (think being possessed). Unless we are dealing with such an extreme case there is no excuse for Supermans actions. The fact that Diana could manipulate him suggest that he was already capable of this before hand, that these ideas and desires already existed within him in some shape or form. Diana carries a lot of blame for encouraging his actions and helping to guide Superman down this path. Diana was complicit in all this, yes, but it was always Supermans choice. His actions were under his own control not someone elses
@@brucejedilee5290 while i agree with you, you still have to consider that you are entrusting that kind of decision making to a grieving man. In good faith, can you really say that suggesting to eliminate all evil from the world by becoming a dictator to a grieving superman that lost his wife, his child and most of his friends to said evil? Superman was always capable of doing something like this. It's his whole character, he can do something like this and sure as hell he considered it sometimes, but always chose not to. That's what his and batman's catchphrase means, "this battle never ends". Diana didn't tell him that doing that was wrong. She told him it was right and that he should do it. She effectively took that choice away from him each time she pushed him further. Superman in the first year of injustice is never convinced he is doing right. He has doubts, he wonders if he is doing wrong. He could still be saved, and Diana pushed him farther in the dark
I'm starting to wonder if Wonder Woman was the real villain here. Always wondered how Joker managed to get his hands on a nuke and find out Lois' true significance to Superman. And let's not forget she was secretly in love with Superman. Maybe the whole Joker affair was her way of getting rid of her rival?
I always had this theory that Wonder Woman set this whole thing up to plunge the world into totalitarian order that she indirectly controlled by proxy. The joker was an easy scapegoat, she gave him the tools and Batman never had the chance to force him to answer HOW he got the nuke....
@@Shanbo26 Harley COULD know the truth but she probably doesnt or else Im sure she would have told Batman already. But Im sure Wonder Woman doesnt care and still want her gone
@@guilhermehank4938 Joker probably didn't tell her where he got the bomb, but Harley might know something that she doesn't realize the importance of. Enough to make her a danger.
So Batman's "poison" was telling Aquaman to stand down, not to threaten the world, don't provoke Superman and to understand that Superman was angry and hurt and had to be reasoned with? And to Superman that made Batman the bad guy!?
The entire premise of Injustice is stupid. (In fact the entire idea that if there was a Superman, the Earth would not regulate itself into a utopia right quick is far fetched).
"the entire idea that if there was a Superman, the Earth would not regulate itself into a utopia right quick is far fetched" So the reason we don't have Utopia right now, is because there's no supremely powerful man who can enforce the regulations necessary to create that Utopia? I hope I've misunderstood you in some way. That sounds like the single most authoritarian statement I've ever heard anyone express. Out of curiosity, how would you describe your political values?
@@Almatty I'm as Left as they come, but all you have to do is think about it and yes you would need an extremely powerful entity to get folks on board with not starting a war for oil or burning down a rain forest for a mega ranch. Your problem is authoritarians so far have all been dictator type strong men and so you believe "authority" cannot be benevolent. Anyways, the point is if there was a being that could put out the wildfires before they really started. Could re-green the Sahara. Could build wind turbines right in the middle of the ocean and connect them to the world grid etc then the world would regulate ITSELF right quick to get in on that action
@@kernalbert4939Oh yeah he is smart enough to build geo tech like that isn’t he? He didn't side with Superman with much choice. If he pushed it, things would only end Flashpoint style. The whole world would have been destroyed. Out of everybody there. Aquaman gets the most Leeway with me.
@@raidenshat5206 In flash point Wonder Woman and Aquaman couldn't get one over the other. They ended up destroying the world. Aquaman rules the oceans, Aquaman has tech and magic. There's no way Aquaman could beat Superman without the world almost ending. Aquaman had ways to deal with Superman, but with Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, and Shazam on his side. Aquaman can't use those plans safely.

Truth is, this was a smart move. Aquaman could kill almost every human on the planet by flooding our lands with ocean water and raising the sea level while Superman could destroy Atlantis in a matter of moments. In truth, if the two of them went at it, no one would win.
But, tell you what I would like to see. I would like to see more of the Trigon vs Darkseid matchup that I saw in Dark Apokolips. They should do a continuation video on that one, it would be epic.
@@tubucoco I'm not talking about a physical fight between them, I'm talking about if they brought the entire world into their battle. In truth, Aquaman does have the power to kill just about every human on the planet in a matter of hours through magical flooding alone. Sure, Superman can kill him without too much of a struggle but Superman does not have the power to stop the Trident's magic once it takes affect, which will remain even after the current king is slain. If Aquaman attempted to flood the planet, even if Superman threatened him with physical abuse or just outright killed him, it wouldn't stop anything once it started. His only choice would be to somehow freeze every ocean on the planet at the same time.... which would only subject the human race to a slower extinction by cutting trade, travel, food, water and plumbing. We rely far more on the Oceans of the world than most people realize and we know less about what's in the oceans than we do about space. People really don't give enough credit to how dangerous Aquaman can really be.
He should have started the moses incident 2.0 permanently to push superman to kill him(which wouldn't stop magic) or force superman to accept defeat. Superman by no means should have won that battle

I’ve heard some people in the community try and argue Clark was right here and I’m just like he murdered a planet, a child, one of his friends, and sunk so low as to kill Alfred on his birthday just because he didn’t like him.
he was right all the time, on the main concept, stop being stupid, they had intentionally put stupid bad feats, that have nothing to do with the main concept of injustice(justice) superman, that is just "rule the world and try to make it as good as it can be", and the reality is that this is the only right thing to do, not letting people be bad cause of democracy and other stupid thing, that are toxic and make the life of most people get worst.
Davide Gandolfo right all the time? Was he right when he blew drove a planet into the sun because he was resisting arrest? Was he right when he killed every single person off who spoke out against him? That’s not justice that’s insanity, the green lanterns were just trying to make him stand trial for his crimes and so he decided to blow up Mogo that’s not justice. Justice is the punishing of the guilty but Superman punishes everyone who speaks out against him.
Honestly I feel like ww made Clark feel isolated. There was no room for disagreements or not following or questioning whether ones actions were even right she fed his darkness like dry wood to flame.

Superman could do this without the justice league. Steels, superboys, some bizarro, Super girl and powergirl clones, kandorian, phantom zoners, his droid army... Naming the easy army he could put together highlights how Lex is spot on right yet outmatched with 1 superman.
Because he is a human realist in a world where medium tier metahumans can smash mountains. He has contingencies against himself. If heroes wouldn't want the world to be protected against themselves knowing the dangers they are either naive or affirming the point Batman makes. Someone who believes they are beyond doubt is already on the path to despotism and misuse of power and all it takes is the right environment. I can understand the trust issues with a friend, but on the side of Batman he has to question the same. These are people who should know him and should trust him knowing that he is uncompromising and unbiased with the best intentions for both them and the sake of the world. Their hurt feeling and bias only proves Batman correct in that clearly they are not the best judges of their own character and can be easily blinded and prone to self deceit. Batman is hoping to prevent the potential tragedies and outcomes that could happen in worst case scenarios.
Every person involved in the conflict between them had a hand in Superman's fall from grace, be it the sycophants who supported him or the rebels who opposed him. I suppose one might that say that Lex Luthor was right about one thing: this is humanity's punishment for entrusting their safety in the hands of unaccountable gods and aliens. He was right in the sense that our overreliance on them would render us complacent, stagnant and vulnerable and this was the result in this reality. True to form that Lex Luthor is a villain but he is also a person who believes that we humans as a race can and must thrive and succeed without the interference of gods and aliens. This is what organizations like Cadmus feared: the possibility of a metahuman rebellion against the human race with the irony being that our so-called saviors can also be our destroyers if they choose to turn against us
Man you’re damn right Honestly a world where unaccountable aliens, gods, and rouge meta humans rule Over normal human beings is one world I would rather die than live in It outright super powered nazi Germany
This is like the second or third comic book line where Wonder Woman was straight up the bad guy. Whether intentionally by the writer or not remains to be seen
Further Proof that Wonder Woman was the second Antagonist of this war. Doesn't relay Arthur's condolences to Clark, all out of fear that she would never have Superman's heart like Lois did.
He usually written to be about WW level, or slightly below. His true strength is that the world pretty much lives or dies at his command. He rules the sea and everything in it, and Earth is 80% ocean.
If you are getting burnt out on Marvel comics, give The Wicked + The Divine comic series a try, it’s like The Boys but with reincarnated gods and good surprises
We could have a compelling morally grey civil war like story arguing for the merits of democracy and a benevolent dictatorship with Batman and Superman representing opposite sides where Superman takes a much harder, direct but fairly reasonable stance on crime and corruption while Batman still tries to maintain the old ways, but that's too hard to write so let's just make most of Superman's side evil and/or stupid for no good reason so Batman doesn't have a true moral conflict.
Yep. The failures of Batman's side would be all those criminals who are able to evade legal punishment or simply just escape and continue killing. There's no shortage of ammunition to say, for example, that Batman's merciful treatment of the Joker has cost innocent lives. The failures of Superman's side would be all the corrupt people in his administration that abuse their power, as well as any innocents convicted by mistake. You could even have a case of someone being mind-controlled into criminal behavior just to be hung out to dry. There's just so much potential there. But we need a clear hero, so of course Batman has to be the pure hero and Superman has to drop the "benevolent" part of "benevolent dictator".
@@iggytheincubus Darius the Great for a real life example and basically any good and wise king in Literature. The abilities and upbringing of Clark basically nullifies most of the shortcomings of normal dictators . Hell Marvel has a guy named Dr. Doom and aside from his warmongering tendencies, he is a very competent and benevolent ruler.
I mean realistically there's no reason why Superman can't be a perfectly reasonable ruler for humanity, there's literally nothing grey about any of it, and no logically sound opposing side. Greed/ambition is pretty much the singular downfall of anyone in positions of high power, and Superman doesn't need anything from humans because we are all worthless ants compared to him. We literally *have* nothing to offer him aside from emotional, so it's not like he would use his position unfairly to benefit himself. And even with late-game Injustice Superman, if you're afraid of being ruled by him, that just means you're a self-indulging bum who hates being held accountable when you mess up.
This was very tactical of superman honestly. rather than going in all guns blazing it seems like he thought about his options and then executed properly.

i'd like to see an injustice story like that. I mean we already had a preview if it was Diana in rule in Flashpoint, but I want to see how Clark realizes her methods
I read the entire series, and yes, I believe that Superman was truly broken but at this stage, you could see that he was had some of his humanity. The fact that no one banded against him to drive some sense into him is insane. It's as if the entire Justice League's morals were built on the boy scouts, now turned into a pained monster inflicting his ideal of peace but in reality pain on the rest of the world. There was still time to pull Superman back into the light of the Sun instead of the dark of the moon that Wonder Woman continuously lead him into. The fact that Lantern and Shazaam didn't care for his tactics says a lot but they did not speak up, properly. They simply followed his lead. Batman was the last person Superman would ever listen too. In his mind, all of this could have been avoided if Batsy played the bad guy, just once. But the others of the league still had his ear, at this moment. Also... I know this is a what if story line but seriously, who in their right mind would get rid of all the Kryptonite in the world and put their faith in basically a god? Dude took down Hercules... In the New 52, he knocked Apollo's socks off. Darkseid has trouble keeping the mortal sun battery down. So why, of why, would someone get rid of a radioactive element that brings him to his knees at the slightest whiff? A little Kryptonite and downtime was what Supes really needed. He needed to grieve, powerless, and walk amongst humans. He needed to do this for a few months to years, to regain the sight he lost. Only then could he protect the world the way it needed to be. But alas, the tragedy of this comic is that the more power he took from humans, the deeper he fell into the pit of mania. Last thing, I say mania because I cannot honestly say that this Superman is truly evil. Reading through the series, it feels like he lost his mind completely to grief. Superman/Clark was no longer a personality, one that lived on the surface of his consciousness. No, what remained was something else, unnamed by the writers. Clark peeked only a few times throughout the series but he was gone for the majority. Superman stopped existing the moment he took government matters into his own hands. So, honestly, I don't know who this person is, but who it was got lost in the mania and misleading of those who supported him. Done rambling. Sorry for whomever reads this through.
Actually bro I have read in comics that he has a lot of powers if wants even kryptonite can't do anything to him dude he can travel faster than light we don't know the limit of his powers and injustice batman and ww was the real villain they made sups villain for their fake humanity
This is just bad writing imo. Superman wants to police the world. Aquaman can literally kill all of its non-powered inhabitants with magic that superman can't stop. He can literally flood the entire world with magic and all the people that superman wants to control. In no way should aquaman have lost this. He could literally have flooded the desert that Atlantis was placed on. And aquaman's trident is magically powered indestructibility, so supe's can't break it to stop the command.
Aquaman was dead wrong in directly attacking the surface world. And when Superman tried to reason with him, Aquaman pulled the... "Mine is bigger and stronger than yours card." Superman, now fed up with Aquaman's BS, stopped holding back. Threaten my loved ones! Well, two can play that game. Aquaman had to back down, got put in his place, and had to eat humble pie. Nuff said. 😎 And yes, Wonder Woman was completely wrong in not telling Superman that Aquaman offered his counsel and was sorry for Superman's loss. 🤨
Ya know I had a thought, but its based on the fact I believe Injustice never explained how the Joker obtained a nuke or found out about Lois Lanes connection to Clark Kent. I mean considering Wonder Woman has the power to easily dispatch the military with her godly strength, not having any true qualms with murdering people, intelligence to delete the surveillance data she could've obtained the nuke. Her secret love for Clark, knowledge of his relationship with Lois, and here distrust instilled by this world's Steve Trevor provides motive. The fact she goads Superman further down the rabbit hole through things as small as not telling Superman his friend gave his condolences shows how cleverly/snakishly going about this. With the final point being that in Injustice 2 and Injustice in general she wants Harley dead even more than Superman from the looks of it.
Α real Greek never lie. Even in the face of Armageddon. Remember Socrates, Plato, Leonidas and Alexander the Great. This is propably an alien that took the form of Wonder Woman.
Aquaman can flood the world.... could've put Atlantis right back at the bottom of the ocean if he wanted to. They better quit playing aquaman like he sum sort of shrimp. #BigGishNSmallPond
Flood the world? So when he does that and the oceans are empty because all the water is on the land what than? Aquaman is powerful but there is only so much water. To flood the world would wreck the oceans.
Injustice Superman was such a tragic character. A man held to such impossible standards that lost his wife, his unborn son, and his best friend. Even the most stoic and poised of men would break after that. Diana took that pain and grief and turned it into a weapon against the free world. She is the true villain of Injustice
Wonder Woman was so thirsty for Superman that she completely changed. She became nothing more than a yes woman, trying to win his love even though he was still mourning over Lois and his child.
The problem is not that this version of earth has a superman who turned mad with grief. It is that this version of earth has a manipulative wonder woman who chose superman as her plaything.
to be fair look exactly what it took to slap him in the face, A Kryptonian, the world mightiest mortal, and a man wielding a weapon that can literaly do anything its wield wills it to do,
Oh man I remember this! I did NOT see that coming and nor did Arthur! I bet on that day anyone that thought they were dealing with the same old, same old, Superman, pull a strong instant, ‘NOPE!”, on that day!
Well, if i would be citizen in this world, i'd be worried, sure. But between this show of force and potential war with Atlantis? First option sounds better.
I quit reading Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Flash after this. A damn comic actually pissed me off lol. So I went back to marvel but I’ll still read Batman and a couple others.
@Luc Germain it kinda brings me the felling when it comes to WW. She grew up in a misandric society of warrior women. There is no way she would be as virtuous as she is in the mainline comics. This honestly brings a very realistic Diana when it comes to personality, at least in most aspects. It also brings all the bullshit the heroes do. They are God like beings who could stop crime any time they want in the safest ways possible, but when bad things happen, they get all surprised, specially the likes of Superman and Flash. I call that bad writing.
No matter how much someone is grieving for their loved ones, they should never take their fury out on those who did not deserve it. What they fail to see is that the battles that they speak of are not simply performed on a physical level but also an emotional level. We as people do not just war with each other but also with our souls (Always struggling to balance the light in our souls against the darkness and weighing options against one another). Wars and battles can be fought on different levels as this one just demonstrated. This war is fought on both physical and ideological fronts, with each side's obstinacy escalating it even further and pushing the world deeper into a state of chaos and disarray.
You don't tug on Superman's cape and not expect to get kicked in the teeth. I like Aquaman, but King or not, Superman is a god among men, on Earth above, and the sea below. Also, Superman could have, and should have, lifted the landmass all on his own.
Superman did not need the others help to lift the landmass. He needed others help to make sure the city structure and the people did not fall down and die. This version of Superman albeit weaker can lift the entire landmass on his own (infact he can lift 10 of these ).
Diana saw this as an opportunity to get closer to superman because Louis wasnt there anymore and tbh I think shes the real villain telling superman that hes right just because she wants to become hes lover that badly to resort to leading him into a darker place thinking he'd love her if she agreed with everything hes doing
@@erdragon99 i was wondering the same thing but what you said make sense ...he just need to show arthur what he was dealing with at the same time not bringing harm to the people
Enjoying the arguments about narrative here. These are comic artists, they draw great, but DC never hired talented writers... you're gonna be mad at ALOT of their stories. Always.
I honestly blamed Batman in Injustice as much as Wonder Woman. After what the Joker did, if Batman was the friend he thought he was, he would have killed him first. It wasn't just one bad day with Superman, it was a series of events. I thought he did the right thing here, he stopped an invasion with no loss of life and got Aquaman to agree to meet with them over any issues. Later when Darkseid invades, people were dying, he had to cut loose and stop it. The whole time Batman is pulling one way and Wonder Woman is pulling the other. He tells Aquaman not to give him an ultimatum and that is exactly what he is doing. There is plenty of blame to go around in this series.
So Superman just decided not to listen to Diana's conversation with Aquaman even though he wasn't even trying to hear Batman talking to Aquaman on comms? Or he couldn't even tell Diana was lying?
If I was aquaman I would have ordered my armies to destroy the whole planet and left nothing for superman to rule................what can I say I'm a sore loser. :P
@Sarmad Qureshi I don't think it would be that easy. Water makes up 71% of the surface(habitable zone)of the planet that means aquaman's kingdom,in theory,is over 2x the size of the REST of the planets territory/population all with access to technology more advanced then the majority of the planet, super atlanteans, AND can call on gigantic creatures the size of mountains from the depths. Put simply while superman is "over there" wiping out ONE army a hundred others is destroying a hundred other countries. He CAN'T be everywhere at once anymore then the flash can...and flash is FASTER.
I'm #12 In the actual dc universe Aquaman would have actually just brawled with superman and has won 4 times 2 underwater and 2 on land and in the last battle he was weakened from being tortured and had help from hot Atlantian wife(Mera) yet still sent SUPERMAN flying with his blows like a boss 😎
Look Aquaman is strong nd stronger in water enough to take on superman punch for punch but that fight would be over quick if superman really wanted to end it, he never once used heat vision while fighting aquaman so theres that

What’s interesting here is that it almost wasn’t this way. Aquaman was in Atlantis when Metropolis blew up, and had remained noncommittal to the League’s new direction. When Wonder Woman showed up to talk, Aquaman asked her to pass on his condolences to Superman about Lois. Wonder Woman did not do this, even when Superman asked if he’d said anything more. Had she done so, Atlantis may well have allied with the Regime later on down the line.

@@diavolothegod6282 I agree, it started out well, but fell apart at the end due to the need for the ideal Superman to prevail. The writers can't have a Superman that goes against the core values.
Yeah, this is not how Arthur would respond to his city being dropped in the Sahara. Instead, he would use the trident to summon a biblical flood. And let Superman know the rain stops when Atlantis is back under a mile of water. And Wonder Woman can't lie, so she has to say something else at the end to be evasive.
Yeah he could’ve just drowned the Sahara, or several other cities. He’s tougher than Poseidon in this world. It should’ve ended with M.A.D like US and Russia
@@grega3611 It should have ended with Wonder Woman telling them both to stop doing the work of Ares, that this was Ares's final ploy to stop the cease fire, and for Superman to just let Curry have this one and go home and sign an actual fucking peace treaty with Atlantis instead of making a decree.
@@grega3611 Furthermore, Atlantis is full of *wizards and mages.* They wouldn't have just sat there _watching_ while this happened. *King Shark would have fucking bitten Superman's head off with his magic shark god bite.*
