I use my sib at and arround flambrough hesd uk. It is mostly rough here. It is as amazing here as your vudeo looks in devon. Fun can be had with these small inflatable boats sibs wherever you are. I use mine for fishing . Emptying my lobster pots and v notching all lobsters. And a lot of fun sight seeing and seeing seals porpoise puffins and a big supprise a big pod of dolphins. I love these boats. They are very stable. Easy to handle and in my opinion safer than simular priced plastic boat as there are more than 1 air chamber to keep u afloat if u like me get a puncture.... i scraped the hull on a barnicle covered rock filming seals for my channel and still got home safe after 2 mile shoreless high sea fright fest. The boat was fine. A bit of sand was in valve and slowly leaked. Always have a vhf marine 2 way radio and a life jacket. Have fun . Its easy with an inflatable boat. No hastle no storage fees just fun and one more thing . Even more fun and iv rescued 1 dog and a little girl on a unicorn inflatable ring in 6 months. Now im a hero x2
I thought id punctured my boat but they are quite tough . When i got home and re inflated it and checked it turned out to be my own mistske by getting sand in the valve.. if ur not convinced yet.. mrt me use my esp. Happy
HAHA yeah.. It seem great! I only tested it with a trolling motor.. Gonna get a 15 or 25hp next month. So far great adventure.. I was skeptic with them trolling motors.. But my motor is 55lbs thrust, and it did not even use any battery on today's 2 hour trip. Well it is not a preferred speed for me, but it sure is fun. And good motor for fishing trips.. I'm really amazed how long the battery charge lasts.
Thanks, after 2 months the 330 i still looking new but the optional extra fixed floor is looking a little battered i would say this will not last a year and will need to be replaced, this is a low cost boat that so far for the money better than expected, previously had Sunsport 320 Airib which is alot heavier to move around in the back of car than the 330, plus the 330 packs away smaller than the Sunsport, overall very pleased with 330 but you do get what you paid for. it's perfect for people using it for light use. I may put together a video in a few months to show wear and tear
Project DC my fixed floor made all the difference but yeah the quality of the floor isn’t all that great. A shame really. What kind of wheel system is that? Would love to get a pair of those myself (and a bigger engine 😁)
With 1 person, yup. With 2, it depends. If you are light and so is the other person, it could probably plane. It would plane at a maximum of about 350-400 pounds
I have 6 hp tohatsu 4 stroke on my 330. It easily gets on plane with just me and my fishing and camera gear. It can plane with 2 10 or 11 stone people but not with 3. A quick change of prop to a lower pitch decreases top speed and alows for fast easy plane with me and a friend. So 6hp is about right for me. Regards. Kit
I have the same boat but it splashes water inside the boat. I think it's because i have the plank floor, but i'm thinking of building a proper floor myself
Same boat here as well, with the 4 plank floor. Did you manage to build your own floor? I think Aquaparx went bankrupt so can't find the original one anywhere...
@@Fendy_NL yes, I built a floor for the square section of the boat. I built it with 10mm plywood multiplex and painted it grey. Works very good and has improved stability and speed. The whole boat is rigid now
@@jeremyveend Thanks! So that means you left the point without a floor totally? Did you make use of an inflatable keel as well? So basically that would mean only a rectangle shaped piece of board that goes under the tubes for a tight fit and presto? Yes...going to the Praxis tomorrow haha...thanks again!
@@Fendy_NL yes i left the point without a floor but i have some spare wood so i think i will make a piece of wood under the plank for a small "keel" but i don't know if it will really improve it
@@jeremyveend Very cool! Thanks for taking the time to reply. So just out of curiosity, what engine power do you have and how did it improve the speed of your boat? With 5HP ours reaches 16kph, so very interested in how fast you go and if you get it into plane (and with how many persons etc). Thanks again (you're also dutch btw right?)
