Aquarium pest snails are considered a problem by many fish tank keepers. You can get them, unknowingly in your aquarium on plants. They are not all that bad though, they keep the aquarium clean by feeding on algae, leftover food, fish waste, and decaying leaf matter. I don't mind having them in my aquariums, but I had this snail trap for a long time, so I decided to try it out.
