Thanks for the test! I have a shrimptank and was on the fence whether to buy the Sera or Superfish ones and this video really helped with making the choice!
You are welcome saskibla, tbh since doing this video, we just brought some assassin snails, and the whole fish room is now free of pond snails without having to faff around with the aquariums. They are slow breeders, and once the snails have gone, numbers drop to very few, so worth a thought if you are having snail problems but want to make it easy on yourself!! Plus, a nice-looking snail! Best of luck whatever you do, they are a right pain these pest snails
That's a super old video when we were learning I guess, all our old videos are terrible IMO its only our last few videos I think we have raised the bar on bud (check out our latest video and give us some feedback?)
I just received my Sera Snail collect the other day, I set it up and placed it in my wine barrel pond and the following morning it was FULL of snails 🐌
Thanks for the comment Jeffery, they do work well when you don't have small greedy guppies trying to get the food lol! We persisted with them a little longer but could never fully get rid of the snails, we brought some assassin snails and happy to say have been pest snail free for about 6 months now:)
@@Aquadiction where can I find the snail bait tabs that came with my Sear Snail Collect? I tried other tabs including algae but nothing worked faster or attracted more snails.
@@jefferypeterson3964 I really don't know but you should have just as good results if you squeeze some cucumber in the trap! Sorry if that doesn't help much Jeffery!
