Is there a chart available indicating number of drops of Tetra products to use for 5 gallon aquarium? Most directions on bottles use teaspoons for 10 gallon and larger aquariums. Thanks
No, Tetra. I get why this is inviting to try and get people to do maintenance on their tanks, but this is not how it works. Changing water and maintaining a tank is more than an inaccurate 30/30/30 rule :/ Tank maintenance varies on the type of stock, volume, set up, and filtration you have. Overall, most keepers prefer weekly 50% water changes (WCs) to help keep nitrates down to a healthy. However, that may change if you have a 2.5g shrimp tank that may need 2x WCs per week while a 75g planted community could most likely have 1 WC per month. This is very misleading and not helping fishkeeping or beginners who often come for your products.
Because one tank might be 65 gallons while another is only 5 gallons. One tank might have only 5 fish while another has 20. One might have live plants cleaning the water while another has zero plants. One might have gravel and another a deep sand substrate with anoxic zones and nitrifying bacteria. Father Fish channel
