G’day John! Thank you for watching. I’m super excited to get the tank scape sorted and load it up with (too many of) my favourite corals! 🤭🙌 You certainly pose a great question there, and I’m glad you asked because it does come across as a little odd given who we are - until you hear the true justification ☺️. In short, Cam works so hard - he starts each day by 4am pumping seawater between the storage vessels and various work trucks- and he just wanted one “dry” space in his life where he wasn’t responsible for carting buckets or pumping water 🤣. Being someone who always limited herself to owning 30 tanks, I did find it a difficult adjustment when I moved in, but I was able to fill the void with The Prop Room - coral farm and store being within 500 m from home. Also, houseplants! Cam always said there would be a possible loophole if our son wanted a tank, and if it was small enough to avoid big hoses… and so, here we are! 🙌 I’m stoked! Ania

Hi Gentil, thanks so much! Can’t wait to see the scape inside the tank! This cyanoacrylate glue is different to the “gel” thickness coral glue we use for fragging. It has a very runny consistency like water. Runny super glue can be purchased at hardware or hobby stores but usually only found in very small tubes which isn’t very convenient for this technique. So we buy it in bulk bottles as Aquascaping glue and hope to stock it on the shelves for sale at Gallery Aquatica very soon! 🙌

Hi Mike, thank you for the great questions. We spoke about this exact concept while we were constructing it. While I’m sure this technique could be applied to a range of different artificial commercially available rocks, We believe it’s the Marco which specifically works so well in this way due to its chemical composition - it is organically sourced Calcium Carbonate (limestone) which creates such a solid bond with the cyanoacrylate. This glue isn’t the same consistency as fragging (gel) coral glue, it’s very runny like water. Super glue can be purchased here at hardware stores on the cheap but it usually is only available in tiny tubes which would be cumbersome to use for this task, especially if you were alone and having to go between applying the powder and unscrewing the glue. We currently buy it in bulk bottles as Aquascaping glue and it will soon also be offered it on the shelves for sale in store at Gallery Aquatica 🙂 Thanks for watching!! Ania

@@GalleryAquaticaTV agree 100%, the Marco rock is very easy to shape and work with in general. Here in USA I use GlueMasters “Thin”. I bought 16 bottles, have used 2 and have done a lot of aquascaping. The GlueMasters 8oz is $20. Wear a respirator or STRONG fan. That sh#t F’ed up my sinuses. I wear a respirator now. Wear the gloves Than, of Tidal Gardens, suggested in his vid, the super glue burns!

Hehe I can’t help but call anything under 100g a nano either 😂. I reason it’s because the other systems we own and care for are all 300g+. It’s been SO cool having a tank inside the living room to watch every night, can’t wait to scape it! Ania
