Old school still has a Niche.
I fell down while holding the glider up and was sliding down the hill headfirst on my back lol.
Funny: Been there done that before ha.
Lucky that I wear my camera helmet so tight, it might have rolled all the way into the ocean.
Yes Aquila does bank faster than Windfree "after/during" harder rudder inputs, but it feels soft before that, makes you nervous but it's actually there when you need and apply it.
Did you hear any wind in the camera? Nope just the ocean So... it wasn't very windy at all was it? 3-6 MPH. (My one year previous video had "perfect winds" 8 up to 15 MPH (it'd be a good look)).
That's what we used to use these for: get there early and fly these types, then when the wind came up (12-15 or + MPH) we'd switch to our Coyotes, SR-7s and others, I had a home brew flying wing Delta (that I still have and enjoy today). The long wingers however can handle a-lot more wind than you might think and handle it well too. I wish that I had more wind today, it would have made for a better vid "but" I flew and I had a-lot of fun when I may not have otherwise flown at all: Point made!
Hope you enjoyed!
Cheers:
Robert
