Well since it's going to be a mobile game and a lot of old players will be hyped it's going to have a way larger playerbase. Mobile gaming opens up a lot of options. That's what to look forward to.
I don't get why people want this game on mobile so much. Also, what is this rush to have it on mobile> People seem to forget that they are converting a game from 2009 to mobile. That is 14 years of monsters, maps, cutscenes and items. Imagine how long it will take. AQ3D was easy cos they were made together both pc and mobile version.
low fps because its a flash game that only works on the ae client on pc you get extremely low fps (with any setup) because everything is a weird hacky workaround its not a real game its a flash animation pretending to be a game, the new game is made in unity targeting 60 fps + and releases on all platforms
they're not converting they're remaking the game from the ground using unity new combat systems, classes with more than 5 skills, new movements larger screen field meaning when you move your monitor scrolls with you sided to side, even weather i think, falling leaves , ligthing, tons of new stuff, while they're also converting all the items in the old aqw which will take years since it's not something that can be done in a days, months or even a year class animation might need rework, items with animation might really need to be reworked, while converting your character it would be reset back to level 1 with 2 level 1 from the old aqw and the other for aqw infinity and that's only when converting existing character you also have a choice of creating a new clean character. revamped stories while keeping the lore as much as possible
I quit AQW in 2019, came back couple weeks ago and just found out AQ2D still isn’t released lmao Joke aside, it’s an unrealistically large project - WoW classic took almost 5 years to get released, and they only had to remake the first 2-3 years of the game’s existence on the same engine, while AQ2D is trying to port nearly 15 years worth of items (and MAPS) on a completely different engine. It’s understandable it’s taking this long.
yeah thats why i understand that they had to cancel out the server rewrite years ago but atleast they had it figure out this time and i hope things will work out for them, i just hope for the best for AE and for us OG players
They have the means to do it, from what i know artix is very wealthy, plus they always do a kickstarter so people pay instead of them spending money. They have the means to hire a large team to do it for them, but they don't want to.
I quit AQW for a long long time, then i came back, watched many guide vidoes including yours, and spent some money, finally got those good classes like LR snd VHL and even beat the ultra dage and ultra chaos guy(i forgot his name) and completed CA class as well. And I got bored and quit again 😂 so i missed out on all the new ultra boss and new enhancements, it seems so complicated so i don't wanna go back to AQW 😂😂😂
damn i had similiar experience, i just back when covid hit, trying to be member for the first time, since i cant do that when i was kid, simply bcs didnt have cc, fast forward later i just back again lately and found out bunch of horoundous farm that im already sick reading the requirement in the wiki.
*ESSAY AHEAD* ‼️🤣 As someone from SEA, I strongly believe that releasing a mobile version would attract A LOT of new players from this region. Many of my friends wanted to try this when they saw me playing. A nice game to hang out, dressed up, role play, and enjoy, which they really like. The problem is that they don’t own a PC (even me). I actually stopped playing this game for that reason nine years ago, since it's time- and money-consuming. The reason I played again is because I got an iPad and I discovered this browser with Flash that is free on iOS but unfortunately not on Android, which is a huge problem since most people here are Android users, so my friends can’t still play. Releasing this could possibly be AQW 2D’s turning point toward its full revival. Who knows? Lol
@@Yuemitai It's Puffin, just avoid having too many tabs so it won't ask for payment. If it does, just close the app and open it again. Also, always clear history, and use the browser only for AQW. It's a huge help for me, I completed most of the hard quests just using it, like getting Blade of Destiny, darakath armor, classes like YNR and LR, and those 50%+ boost weapons.
I am playing both aqw and geometry dash. I've been waiting for 6 years for next update of geometry dash and yes this year it will came-out same with aq2d . I hope both of these games finally release, I'm so excited this year, just keep waiting.
The bad part about the conversion, they are still making weekly releases which just adds more work for no reason. I mean, it's not like the game is going to get less popular than it already is. Am I wrong?

they know what THEY DID wrong right??!?!?! They waited SOO long that they literally have NO CHOICE but to release a VERY PLAYABLE version of the game because there was Promise, after promise, after promise, after promise, after promise of the game coming no or a little later or then and now its pushed to N/A. They did it to themselves this is a very clear case of procrastination in small parts that added up to one on the company of AE's fault. They should feel bad for what they've done to this game. They should regret making false promises when they know damn well the game was not only not even close to ready but borderline UNPLAYABLE to anyone who had a sense of what this game truly is. Thanks for the effort. Thanks for the false promises. I hope it was worth it AE.
I call shotgun on your account, jokes aside AE has said many times they'll do this and do that yet it never occurred which made me always skeptical on anything they say.
