Just one word “GREAT”

Reminds me of the good old days when Bhai and I were in school and we lived with our mom and dad. We didn’t have a lot back then, a simple middle class family by all means. However, we were together and happy. Had one AC and everyone squeezed on the same bed in summers (good lord that was a tight squeeze!😂). I miss those serious fights over Maggie and crisps!! Bhai (now married) and I now live in different countries now. A family divided by continents. Mom and dad will move with me to the UK after dad’s retirement. We now have everything one may desire in this materialistic world, lavish properties, expensive cars and what not! We’ve come a long way however, somewhere in this journey we left our sweet little family behind. I am sure we all love each other just the same but there is something missing. Perhaps it’s the hardship that made us realise the importance of family and love. Now that we have everything, nothing seems to bring a similar satisfaction as before. Nonetheless, we will always cherish those days, those good old days. 🤍
