actually I think you would die before you realised what happened and therefore unless your day was already bad to begin with it wouldn't get a lot worse. What I would say is if you get shot by a 50cal you must have pissed off someone very powerful.
He got a felony charge for possession of weed, people with felonies can’t have guns, served about two months time in prison. he’s now a free man besides the guns and explosives.
Felons can get their gun rights back, seeing as his charge was not a violent crime after (10 years I believe) he can go before a judge and get his rights back.

+fluffyman15 .50 isnt that bad.. ita jusast a big gun.... the projectile is apox 1/2 inch in diameter.. 12 guage slugs are a bigger projectile.... just less powder than a .50... but similar recoil...
not only that , I bet the rounds he uses have different type of powder in them, less powerful. This depends on the manufacturer of the round, it can vary a lot. I mean he is putting on a show, so it makes sense for him to do this.
Ehh, I believe that you probably could have gotten away with entrusting your life to that body armor, but the real risk is simply.....accidents. The real concern is your buddy "fucking up" and maybe shooting you in the wrong place. Lol

It doesn't really matter if there was, since you are still getting 13000+ lb ft of energy transferred to your torso. After that your chest would be paste
There isn't any cost effective, truly practical armor that is known that can stop the round from penetrating, and like signs said even if there was, the energy transfer would turn you into sausage.
True, But some of the less powerful weapons will still kill you with out penetrating. Armor is useless once the impact shock is high enough, since the shock wave will rupture most of your internal organs on impact. Having a bullet resistance plat is only half the problem, the other factor is impact shock wave resistance(or what ever technical name they use). Check both, then you know not to waste money on something that will stop bullet penetration, but still have you die from impact injury. It's like those people who by super hi-def speakers and do not realizing that the human ear has a limit on it's upper and lower sound range. So buying a speaker beyond your hearing range is useless and wasteful.
I saw this armor take 60 rounds of armor piercing 7.62x39mm rounds (out of an AK47). And only 2 of those rounds went through. 60 rounds all hitting the same area only the last two went through. That's damn impressive.
+WTF BBQ to protect the vital organs, you can survive shots in other parts, only getting injured and later recuperate. only the vest that protect from bombs cover almost all., but they can weight more than 30 kg. PD: sorry for my bad english

Wouldn't be possible to carry it, and the recoil would knock you off your feet after a short burst. (Or break your shoulder, whichever you prefer) But Browning M2 is .50 cal, and it is absolutely badass. That weapon is literately 100 years old and still the best in its category.

I was so close to buying ar500 steel, thank god i bought RMA ceramic, the best budget ceramic only downside is that its pretty heavy compared to other ceramic plates
Just bought a plate carrier from these guys. 300 bucks for a carrier with a chest handgun rig, two 30 rd mag pouches plus two handgun pouches, and two ergonomically curved 10x12 level 3 plates. Hell of a deal for quality armor. Highly recommended.
