that is beast. i'm a heavy metel person, but i still like this stuff every now and then. also he does keep his beat when he goes really fast which is very impressive and hard to do.
I was at his live set in Chicago on 12-28-11, and he had the entire club dancing for about 30-45 min. He grovved most of the entire set, but he did throw a little bit of the fast fingers in just for show. I had a blast of a great time and I am goin to his set when he returns in March!
You would be suprised how many people do this with ease. Its called band, and drumline. I know a few dudes who go in on the mpc and they all were in drumlines.
yes..... there is wires plugged in. its just in black and white. when there is a close up on the pad you can see the xlr output wires plugged in and the power cable is always black
He's essentially a really good drummer. All he ever really does is trigger samples really fast, not chop them or pull any serious rearrangement. I do love his work, though.
@RENN357 You're right their is a difference from an mpc and drumming. In fact, AraabMuzik was originally a trained drummer before he took on the MPC. With drumming you can't accomplish the same sound and FX as he could with the MPC. Even though hes not using an actual drum set, it still comes down to timing and being on beat. Basically, your comment displays you know very little about music even you're trying to sound like you do.
i like how the vid speed up towards the end and he looks all animated the break down .. fools gonna have mad cramps in fingers laters years . arthritis or somthin lol dam i need a mpc fast ... tired of using my pc keyboard
