The funniest part about trying to expose Islam is that when you quote the hadiths they will immediately say: "The hadiths are not to be trusted because they have varying authenticity!" but do not give a proper criteria on how to determine which hadiths to believe. When you quote the quran they will say that it is because it is in english and only arabic is the acceptable way to say it. When you read the arabic it's the interpretation and the context that is missing... It's straight up cult mindset

I've noticed they cherry pick the hadiths that sound nice and say the ones that are obviously batshit crazy are the unreliable ones. The bible usually confuses people (myself included) whenever it speaks in riddles or uses vague language or says something that doesn't make sense, and that's when priests are called in to aid someone but all the priests I've known usually encourage one's own interpretation. I notice that imams and islamic scholars get involved in "aiding" interpretation or claim a bad translation ONLY when the verse is very obviously calling for violence. Hilarious.

I see this man as a spiritualist, not an atheist. He has the true emotional intelligence, empathy, bravery and critical thinking that is the true teaching of Spirit. My belief is that people like this are chosen by Spirit to reveal the truth and enlighten people. You will find these people in the most unexpected places. Exactly where they are needed. We have moved from an age of blind faith and into an age of truth being revealed.
At the end there is "truth". Which is a "religion" you could say that I am following. No dogmas, you just look at what is infront of you and what makes sense and what kind of society you envision, which is peaceful, free, etc. This to me includes both spirit (non-physical) and the physical (science you could say) domains, which are intertwined.

These are struggles most religious people face internally but would never admit openly. In Islamic countries its harder for people to be honest about how they feel because they fear repercussions for going against the grain.
That is way most Muslims cannot think rationally by themselves, without quoting verses from the Quran or the Hadiths. I did speak with some, who agreed with me and I felt sorry about it.

The ringleaders of these marches - awful displays of naked aggression, antiSemitic hate and intimidation - DO know their support for Palestine is total window dressing for their real motives - they therefore heap the further venal act of hypocrisy upon themselves. You may say "the ringleaders aren't the masses". To an extent that is true - but to imagine that those persuaded to join the seething throng despite their many doubts - or even that they have been browbeaten into attending - I feel is to be unnecessarily generous. Furthermore, it presupposes that it is all one homogeneous thing - organized, like the conductor of an orchestra, into one, huge operation. Islam simply do not grasp the basic concept of fairness and yet has the audacity to claim it is a religion of truth, peace and justice. The Golden Rule taught by Jesus Christ "do unto them what you want them to do unto you" is totally lost on them and that rule is essentially a basic principle of being fair. The Jewish version of the Golden Rule is "don't do unto others what you don't want them to do unto you". The secular saying is "put yourself in their shoes". Basic common sense principles of how to be fair is pretty much "if you want respect you have to give respect". Stop talking about a religion of justice which is more complex. Islam don't even grasp the notion of what "fair" really is. Reciprocity is central. What these people teach is entrenched systemic hypocrisy. Saying one thing publicly and then secretly contradicting themselves in private. It is simply impossible to promote let alone nurture goodness and virtue in this kind of teachings, intellectual environment and with these kind of leaders. That's what happens when they worship an entity who claims to be the greatest of all deceivers.

I don't think people need to leave islam, but having the ability to thoughtfully and objectively criticise yourself and your community is extremely important. Conjugates of the trilateral root of the word, w-r-y, appear in the Quran in the context of hiding or concealing something (5:31, 7:26)… As a doctrine, "double-entendre" best describes tawriya's function. According to past and present Muslim scholars .. tawriya is when a speaker says something that means one thing to the listener, though the speaker means something else, and his words technically support this alternate meaning… All these tactics of are legitimate according to Sharia law and do not constitute "lying," which is is obviously the lies.. Sharia permits Muslims to lie freely, without the strictures of tawriya, that is, without the need for creativity… ------------
