Cheers bro. I've been training this way for 5 years so I figure if it's not going to be such a big deal I won't be changing it from here. Cheers for the reply bro!
Yea yo.. a lot of people have told me that... I never even noticed I did that until I was probably 12...I just taught myself that way from beginning and stuck with it. The 1 1/2 step out was pretty hard for me which is why I prefer a punch front instead.. My point...if it feels ok with you then stick with it then if not try the other..wouldn't hurt ya know? Keep me updated and good luck :)
of course bro...don't get me wrong technique works...but you gotta find your own way to do things...gymnastic coaches mainly only know what they have been taught....
I notice that you put you left hand down first in your round-off but twist over your right shoulder in your arabian..... I do the same thing and I'm not questioning your tumbling ability (it's obviously awesome) but I've had a lot of confusion over the direction I twist. A lot of people say if you lead with your left hand you should twist left. Has anyone ever told this to you? Did you have difficulty learning one and a half step-out? This is said to be hard if you twist the opposite direction.
You have exactly oposite twis and roundoff as me. But different than most people. Can you do roundoff arabian without flip in between? I have to twist in different direction than usual to do it so I'd like to know if you can do it with the same direction twist. Hope to hear from you soon and possibly make a video :)
Hello.. can you help me please? I try Back Flip but i do this "Arbian" and i never knew it.. if you know how to help me? i'm scared to do the backflip and not know why ! :(
Ohh....Okey thanks :) next time they complain I'll say that a tumbler that does triple full on concrete does have wide hands in bhs and it works for him! :D But are you good at mini trampoline or is tumbling your thing? :)
every time I do the Arabian its slanted diagonally so it makes my feet land weirdly. Most of the times its fine, but just today I really hurt my ankle due too the slant of my Arabian. Any tips??
I can do a roundoff but not like he does ! He has so much power. I mean i can do a layout from a roundoff but just look at him he gets 4times the height i get
Do you seriously pay attention to al these things? Can you see when tumbling I mean I can hardly see anything it's not that I don't control my flips I already do double fulls and my flips are high but I don't think I can spot in middle of flip...
I can see everything that's going on when I flip. Once I start twisting though then it's more about feel and less about visuals. Whenever I triple full I just focus on feel then once it feels complete then I spot the landing and can see everything just fine again. Whenever I do a single full I can see everything that's going on but I still operate on feel just because it's easier that way and I have the muscle memory built up.
