Subhana Allah, MashAllah, this is so called Black History Month, this lecture reminds me of the time when it was illegal for a Black person to learn to read or write, the one's that did, had to hide their knowledge or face harsh punishment, tongues cut out, fingers chopped off, eyes gouged, beaten, imprisoned, and the worst offense was to teach others to read and write . Many of our Muslim brothers in the past years have gone to study the Arabic language and Islamic studies, the ones that returned are either on the watch list, or facing some sort of fitna. So what is the good old boys solution, blow up the lands of knowledge, have the people running like bagabonds with only the clothes on their backs, refugees in another land begging for a pound of rice a cup of flour and some stale bread, making those lands a place where no one would want to go anymore to study. Please those studying the Arabic langue study this brother, in my opinion this is way, far above any college level Arabic course offered. This is something as the Sheik says " learn it and pass it on". May Allah bless brother Abu Taubah protect him and remove all barriers and allow him to continue to teach where ever there's a student willing to learn. Ameen.

My draft study notes 1:29 4:04 Speech: Is the composed saying or utterance which is beneficial in its placement or composition. Kalam Chatgpt "Ajrumiyyah" is a famous classical Arabic grammar text written by the scholar Ibn Ajurrum in the 13th century. It is a foundational text for students of Arabic grammar, especially in the study of syntax. The book is widely used in traditional Islamic education, particularly in the study of Nahw (syntax). The section "Bāb al-Kalām" (باب الكلام) in Ajrumiyyah is specifically focused on defining what constitutes speech (kalām) in the Arabic language. According to Arabic grammar, "kalām" is defined as composed of meaningful words that convey a complete thought, consisting of at least a subject and a predicate (in the context of nominal sentences) or a verb and its subject (in the context of verbal sentences). Here’s a brief overview of what "Bāb al-Kalām" typically covers: 1. **Definition of Kalām**: Speech is defined as composed of words that together form a meaningful expression. It should convey a complete thought and be composed of at least two words. 2. **Types of Words**: The section explains that Arabic words are classified into three categories: - **Ism** (noun) - **Fi'l** (verb) - **Harf** (particle) 3. **Conditions of Kalām**: For a statement to be considered "kalām," it must fulfill certain conditions: - It must be composed of two or more words. - These words must be grammatically connected in a way that produces a complete meaning. - The sentence must be meaningful and coherent. 4. **Examples of Kalām**: The text often provides examples of complete sentences to illustrate the concept, such as simple sentences involving a subject and a predicate. "Bāb al-Kalām" is essential for understanding how Arabic sentences are structured and how meaning is conveyed through grammar. It serves as a fundamental building block for further study in Arabic linguistics. 4:52 6:50 inna 8:48 tanwin 10:43 meaning 23:29 mu rakiba

This was in his early days. His time in jail made him a changed person. Ironically it was a Sufi Lawyer ( Br Hasan Shibly) who was with him from the beginning and fought for his release.
