I looked through the wish machine blueprints at the beginning of the game and thought “I really want the memento”. Played the gamble mode and it was my first gold weapon drop. Love that gun.
Im a doombringer shotgun main. Thinking of using memento as my secondary solely cuz I struggled in Arachsiam. Other than that Doombringer just deletes everything. Even in ravenous hunter Hard, I usually hit aroun 4-5 million dmg with it. Ranged/small hitbox fights tho I struggle a lot. Which memento excels at.
That's good to hear, I was thinking about pairing my Memento with the Doombringer to clap some enemies where weakspots aren't there (such as eggs or claw machines) What Key Armor and Mods are you running for the Doombringer? Oh and what calibration? The build I have in mind doesn't run max DPS on the Shotgun but pairs well enough with the Memento mods that I'm using. I tested to see if the Old Huntsman Boots allow you to weakpoint hit enemies that don't have a weakpoint and it works. So my current 'final' build I have in mind is: Memento Doombringer 3x Renegade 2x Scout or Bastille once I have the Starchrom for it Old Huntsman Boots for the extra Weakpoint hits and damage.
@@Wilky hmmm. I'm using lighweight calibration with 2x crit dmg. 2 pc falcon 3 pc lonewolf key earthly boots (subject to change soon, might go 2pc of another legendary for mag size) Basically get as much crit dmg crit rate as you can and make sure you have some mag size to reach at least 2 shots per mag. Shotgun builds have a lot of downsides tho especially in Mensdevoran it's basically trash there. In Lea labs it's close to no value in fast running the boss cuz she teleports a lot and shotgun as not much reach when she goes far out of range. I basically made this build for fast mod farming. Other than that I'd also switch to Memento for most pro mode content like Lea labs and Mensdevoran. It really shines there considering even jaws unstable bomber is literally useless against Mensdevoran (along with status/continuous dmg builds).
@@Wilky much as it shines in some select contents it's utterly useless in some. That's why I'm building another weapon. It's a pain to cope with incompatible contents 🤣 like Treant, Lea labs, Mensdevoran and Arach. Having no reach sucks. Shrapnel is still King of dps while others are almost similar in dps ss long as theyre well built. For pvp jaws is strongest followed very closely by Memento (since it has one shot potential).
Yeah, balance is definitely off in some parts but good enough to make some guns viable. I'm curious to check pro mode tomorrow, will see if my build works there or if I have to change things. I just like hard hitters with low ammo/shot counts, but I already noticed that you definitely need a mid/longrange weapon or you will struggle in plenty contents :( I don't do pvp (yet, maybe never, not sure) but doing Cargo Scramble with the Memento is fun, if you plink the heads it's ez :D
You see the reddish/pinkish glow of the eggs. It can be hard to see on youtube because of the video compression. They always spawn in the same location, so you can pre-aim one spot and then slowly build your muscle memory. The one that is a bit further down is always a huge pain in the ass to the see though. I only once popped all eggs during the fog, then again, you don't have to as long as you can sustain yourself.
You know the game is really well designed when the boss that drops fast gunner mods is the absolute worst boss to fight with a fast gunner build. I did one run of this and decided to quit the game until lea opens. But honestly whats the point of farming anything 4 weeks into the wipe cycle, i should just quit the game entirely.
You keep most things though, I think the entire wipe galore really needs to be cleared up :| Especially Mods, which you can farm now, will be persistent, so that is a one time farm and then you're done unless you decide to change loadouts. I don't disagree though, the boss is very annoying >-
