I recorded the video late at night and didnt quite acknowledge all those other channels at the beginning. So here they are. Weapon and Armor Mod locations by www.youtube.com/@Doomeris The first shrapnel build I watched with this setup was from www.youtube.com/@doridoritv5689 And www.youtube.com/@thiccfila also had some great stuff.
Dude, HOW do I see my crit rate, crit damage and all those things? This game is so ridiculously difficult to figure out on my own because the buttons are so random and so much information is straight-up hidden. I can see that you accessed it here, but I dont know how.
I can confirm that covered advance is what you want in your boot slot, no matter the build. I've ran into a few people who are confused on how it works, and think it's bad. As far as i've seen, it's the best boot mod for damage, and it's not even close. So how the mod is worded is if you avoid damage for 4s, you get a 20% boost to weapon, melee, and status damage for 30s. Where the confusion lies, is some people think you **lose** the damage buff if you take damage while the buff is active, you do not. So how the mod works is every 30s you have to avoid getting hit for 4s to get the buff back. During that 30s window you have 20% more damage no matter the circumstance. Not taking damage for 4s is so easy, that this mod might as well just be considered a permanent 20% damage boost. And so far, none of the other conditional damage buffs for boots give you more than 20%, but all of them are much harder to maintain.
I think it's a great option but I prefer Slow and Steady. +10% damage 100% of the time, plus another +10% when above 90% HP is in my opinion a bit better. Both end up at +20% damage but Slow and Steady gives you the 10% always whereas Covered Advance gives you nothing if you take damage during that window. Not saying Covered is bad by any means, as you said it's pretty easy to keep up but I prefer the constant 10% plus how easy it is to stay above 90% with Rejuvinating and being able to just pop an activator to get back to +20%. If you have no issue avoiding damage for 4 seconds every 30 seconds you'll have no issue staying above 90% HP and you will get more consistent damage bonus in my opinion.
Something cool I learned from another video is that you can make the wires on your base build invisible by clicking 'L' while in build mode. This cleans up the appearance of messy cables everywhere.
Not only is this a great breakdown of the shrapnel build, but it is also a really great explanation of how gear and food/drink works in general. Thank you so much for the time and effort to put this out. Subbed!
I've been confused a lot in this game, so much going on, by far the best explanation on a build, subscribed, gonna check out your other vids, great stuff bro
I subscribed with only watching you for 20 seconds, and its rare that I subscribe unless its deserving. I say this because it was very refreshing to come across someone who isn't desperate for views motivated by their own self gain, while portraying to be genuine creators wanting to put out more content for others, and well, there is a lot of frauds. I could tell that your focus was in putting out content to benefit others and those are the creators who are deserving of it in my opinion. Thanks for this!
It should be mentioned that the Valor isn't 4% shrapnel chance, it's every 4 hits. Crits count as an extra hit, so if you crit with 2 shots in a row, you trigger shrapnel.
oh right, thanks for the correction. I assumed it was triggering more than that, but never really gave it much more thought. So just mistranslation on the description. Makes so much more sense. Appreciate it.
@@lordpico7436 Usually shrapnel is an extra hit. So you would see the bullet damage number plus an extra shrapnel damage number. With the valor you get 2 hits of shrapnel on a crit. With the beret you get +1 shrapnel taking it to 3 shrapnel hits. So the bullet damage number then 3 ticks of shrapnel.
I cannot tell you how many hours I have searched for a tutorial that breaks all this down in simple terms and how to do it! Thank you! As a new player this has made a massive difference to my start. Thank you!
You talked about only one food and drink effect each but not about layering. Fruit Tea to increase food effects ---> canned meat to increase shrapnel damage ---> finally ale to lock your sanity to 100%.
You've packed a ton of great information into this video. It's exceptionally rare to find someone who can provide this volume of information clearly and concisely. I'll definitely be checking out more of your content. Thank you for this!
dude ive just watched this vid over and over for the last hour and tested everything uve been going through. Agreed after watching so many vids it got confusing so did what i thought was good. Well i went from having to reload at around the 150k total DPS mark and now a full mag till it runs out ( starting mag 35) hit for 750K+ total ( noticed 20-21/22K top end dps). Sometimes fluctuates a bit but that was best run on dummy , no deviant out, no food buff , copper ammo too....... Admittedly moving targets your gonna need to track hard but i changed a few mods out coz i dont have them yet as was farming the wrong stuff and have some secondary Legendary mods with good bonuses which deffo helped. Got some more things now im going to test with this new found knowledge so thank you ever so much. Great video , well explained and devils in the detail you have put in. Gained a sub today GG
now i just need to find the bottoms mod and farm for better stats on secondary's cant find any upto date list for purple mods. One i did find i did the silo a few times and none of the mods that dropped where on the list.
finally a viseo that actually makes sense, i spent hours trying figure things out and some vids only show parts of how things work, then most video's were people showing their own game play looking for clout. Cheers mate you saved me hours of digging through crap to try and find just a basic breakdown on how it all works.
What a fantastic video! By far the best explanation of how everything works together. Lots of info here can be applied to other builds. Well done my man. Incredible! Crit hit the sub button. Shrapnel takes care of the thumbs up and bell thanks to you.
Finally someone explains in detail how to make a build, people forget there are a lot of new players like me that didn't even know you can get calibration blueprints or even where to get them! As a thank you, you should let me rewire your house to make it aesthetic 🤣
This video is amazing. Thank you for breaking down each piece of the equation and explaining how everything works together. This is truly a one stop shop for everything shrapnel!
Thus game reminds me of division 2 and outriders mixed into one without all the other stuff.. They took a free game and made it outdue every game I have played thus far!!
The 4% on the SOCR actually means that shrapnel triggers every four shots landed, not a 4% chance per shot. Therefore, shrapnel will activate after every four hits on a target.
I really like this video. It has a lot of great information. The only thing I would suggest is that you include a bit of gameplay footage at the end to show off the build in action.
Great vid man. I a doing a Bounce build, butt bounce and shrapnel share a lot of the same mods, so this helped me a lot. Time to go change up a few things on the build!!
Its a great explain thanks a lot for this. there so much videos about this for explain this build but the most are just fast talking a explaining a to fasts witch click here click there that its not possible to follow them as a non hardcore 24/7 player. Even with my less english i could understand what you was talking a explaining. Really thanks a lot for this video
Myelin, have the heavy axe equipped, use heavy melee attack, switch to gun and then instant tactical then nuke for a few thousand plus extra DPS. It's pretty fun weaving it in when doing LEA and stuff like that.
Everything is so well explained. Cheers. Also, can we have one whim like living armor or do they stack. There is one that extends others so I thought it would.
Got a purple mask mod that makes every 20th shrapnel explode for 260% damage and is a guaranteed crit. This vide helped me figure out how to puece this build together
Upgrading the blueprint is a longer process but I've noticed a zero star versus 3 or 4 star weapon or armor makes a big impact too. Obviously it's take about luck getting that right type of weapon fragments but I've been lucky to already upgrade a golden MPS5 to 3 stars. After calibration it'll be a beast.
Should also mention if you go into the blueprints section of the menu and right clicking the weapon, you can upgrade them by using other blueprint pieces that you don't want, to increase the stars. You'll have to craft the weapon again but it'll def increase the dmg.
Hi More Myelin Games ! Great video and thank you for the content. Wondering if you have any update on the secondary weapon now that recurve bow gives half as much crit bonus?
A good thing to note is that the first ability for the weapon isn’t actually 4% chance to trigger Shrapnel. It’s actually every 4 bullets shrapnel is triggered.
hello the crossbow is only here for activate the vulnerability buff right ? i mean we can use another weapons btw you will lost this buff and this will decrease alot our dps correct ? BTw instead use the beret did it's not better to use 1 set with 4 part and another with 2 ? or 3 set with 2 part mixed ?
haha too kind. It was pretty late when I recorded this, hopefully I get the edited where I actually said your name in the video! I did put your chanel in the description. And your video was actually the first video I saw that made me want to understand builds a bit better.
Technically you would want weak spot damage over crit damage since ur shooting the body most of the time, it would benefit more if you put damage into weak spot cause the crit goes in top of that damage as well, it’ll be better to have that weak spot damage since the shrapnel does more damage to weak spot either way
dont forget about weapon enhancement, before calibrating, each time you enhance your weapons you will increase the damage and stats, need weapon or armor fragments from wish machine.
yeah, I didnt mention the blueprint enhancement as felt like that was a long-term grind, especially for last valor. Felt like a grind over multiple seasons. Still important info, but I htink most builds were still on one star. Still appreciate the comment and feedback! helps the channel
@@MoreMyelinGames yeah for me I got my valor and my divo mp7 enhanced from wish machine, but I like your video your right I need to focus on crit rate and crit damage, I have a lot on weak spot damage.
Yes. It does, Im currently running the falcon and exchanged the 2 scout parts with lonewolf gear. Does a lot more dmg output. Not sure about the full Lonewolf set tho
I tried a 3 piece lonewolf set and on paper its supposed to do more dps/dmg but it really doesn't improve the dmg if you use the falcon set, with which I do 20k dps whereas with the lonewolf 13-15k dps or the test dummy is broken.
The only issue I have with the reload aspect is in heavy lag (prime wars) the game treats the small reload effect as a full reload and can create a loop where I can't reload at all. I'm not articulating it properly, but basically I end up not being able to attack at all for extended periods of time. No lag, it's fantastic. With lag it's terrible.
gas tight. Cage is either bugged, or completely useless. Can see my more recent video talking about how damage is calculated. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-11Tti9O2Z6k.html
May I know if the weapons mod stack? Example: 1) I put all 3 “obliterate” mod on my 1st,2nd and melee weapon 2) using 1st slot weapon to shoot enemies, will it stack all 3 obliterate mods effects?
Great video, thanks for this. Do you know where I can find the recipe for canned meat? A few of the videos I've watched are outdated so the location has changed I believe.
True, I kinda of forgot about that. I feel like the accessories are mainly about the feel of the weapon and not really changing your dps (with the exception of magazine size and bullet type). I mean hitting more shots is going to increase dps. I will look at it a but more
So are you guys only really making the gun build once your a very high level and in tier 5 territory? I’m tier 3 rn and it seems pointless to make the build since I’m going to have to recraft the gun to teir 5 later on
