I discovered this during the closing of the 2012 London Olympics and proceeded to track it down and now it’s my all-time favorite classical piece! 🤩🤩👍🏻👍🏻 To me, it evokes longing, loss, angst, wistfulness and unrequited love… 🥰🥰

I am up late and listening to my usual classic music list, and I have listened to this on loop for a few times, and let me tell you., These students are wonderful, fantastic, stupendous, and a joy to watch and listen to. There's just something about the way they play this piece, and the cadence, the melody, and ease of it, is just wonderful. I've listened to a few others, these students got it! props and hats off to all of them! If I was there, I'd throw a SHITLOAD of flowers at you all. Very nice performance.

Amazing performance. I love this sad ballet about a woman losing her bracelet at the masquerade ball, another one dressed like her finding it and giving it to man while the husband was watching and he accused his wife of infidelity. She was denying it but he didn't believe her and poisoned her as a revenge just to find out the truth soon after.
