Showing the new Aranyik Hybrid Machete. The blade is 11 inches long, 3/16ths inches thick, 5160 carbon steel, around 2.5 pounds, and extremely sharp. Current price on the Aranyik site only $30.
I love that you can see the heat treat on it, it adds to the looks IMO. I've been wanting to get an Aranyik for a long time now but I'm from the UK and don't have a way of getting one since eBay blocks sales of knives outside of the US ah well
Just used my big 4-pin Aranyik E-nep to trim off the end of a broken 4" cherry limb...just a couple of minutes. Have been looking at these (what I would loosely call a Parang) for some time & your vid tipped me. Got the 3.5" version on order. There is NO better cutter/chopper/hacker in the world than an Aranyik blade. They are serious.
I'm wondering what the lines/pattern on the blade is about ? I've never seen anything with something like that. Does it have some function or is it decorative ? Also what is the grip made of ? Really Kool !!!
I've been given some serious consideration to picking one of these up. I picked up a couple of Aranyik billhooks last week and was debating adding this one to my next order.
I like it. It bothers me when I am walking into the rougher areas of the pachyderm neighborhoods I feel my edc knife is lacking. This will solve that problem. I want to know what the metal was before it became a machete? The grooves on it look interesting. The whole thing looks great.
Dude I've watched several of your review videos and I'm sold on the aranyik brand I'm going to be ordering a few of their knives next week. Who needs black Friday when they are so inexpensive as it is!
I bought my first Aranyik back in 2012 (I think) when you reviewed the Enep. It's funny because I decided to wrap my handle in electrical tape too. Great machete, great price.
have it, talk about a brute of a "knife". I have used it as a hatchet and it begs for more. even works for feather sticks if you choose to.. it's a tank.. and if thrown it is a heavy hitter there too.. love it.
+WeAllJuggleKnives so any tips on re-handling it? the original are serviceable but somewhat rough and not too pretty (Yes I will.use it but I want a little nicer) any input would be wonderful
Great review with a nice comedy touch. This is superb for $30. But just look at the mark up on amazon - $50. And over here in Europe it's the equivalent of $75-$110.
Say Heah Is, I have a Cleaver that has patent 1800's, It's a massive chunk of steel, I use it sometimes to chop in the bush, It's heavy and I don't have a good sheath for it, What's the dimensions on your Aranyik Cleaver?. ,, .
Sorry to bug but i was gonna get some Aranyik stuff for Christmas however, it seems they have all but disappeared. I can't seem to find anything about them from this year and the link you provide is dead apparently, would you happen to have any idea as to what happened to them?
Sorry for the late reply, but thanks I watched you using this beaut, and thought "I need this in my life" you know? Besides, with some customization I may be able to make it work for a few European Ren fairs and the like. ( A sort of village conscript outfit if you will)
***** I grabbed one of the E-nep's about a yr ago. Thing is insane. The handle does leave something to be desired though. I meant to make canvas micarta handle scales for it and a big ass kydex sheath but never got around to it. Rainy day project i guess.
It is a pretty sweet blade, just got mine...the only noticeable thing is there is rust all over the center of the blade where a logo is and a couple long minor scratches about an inch in from the edge...I assume from maybe being tested on things before being shipped...but it is such a cool blade for sure
The eato was the exact shape except the hole waS about a 1/4 inch at the top of the bulge. that eato looked like that cleaver with the blade cut in half. and the handle on hers was round
@@WeAllJuggleKnives ok. That's exactly what I did. Really I came looking for an E-nep but he's currently out of them. Out of all of his designs which one do you like the best?
Excellent! Get them while they're hot. I know he had 42 in stock, and now only 27 left at his store, not even counting whatever was sold on Amazon. I'm glad you got in on it!
He can make one for you if you contact him through the website, but I think it is more expensive than the blade itself due to it being leather and special made.
