so there's a pretty good chance Adam is already Soulkilled, which would easily explain how Adam can be fighting Blackhand on the roof in the DaiOni, a special powered armor that can only be worn by a specific Alpha-class full-body conversion borg and takes like six hours to fire up and fully assemble, and simultaneously downstairs in his NovelTech Samson (NOT an Alpha-Class borg, meaning that he would have to jack out his biopod, get the Alpha-Class pulled out, jack back into the new unit, and then start the several hours process of putting on the DaiOni after about an hour had already passed) fighting Shaitan and killing Johnny Silverhand. According to Pondsmith's own repeated descriptions of the night of the AHQ disaster cross referenced with his own lore, the only way Adam's actions are logistically possible is if he's already FULL full borg, and an engram with multiple copies of himself out there. Consider if this is why the (Pondsmith approved) anime has Smasher ask David Martinez about becoming a construct.

This makes me think of something else. I never considered there could be multiple copies of an engram. I always assumed, by jacking in Alt into Mikoshi you're destroying everything including that copy of Saburo. But now... Damn there could be other copies of them out there. Didn't Hanako say Mikoshi exists in multiple branches of Arasaka?

While I understand this is me being a pedant, it does seem pertinent with how misunderstood psychology is by a lot of people who are in the TTRPG world, but, ASPD, or anti-social personality disorder, is the term used by medical professionals to describe the spectrum of personality disorders that Psycopathy and Sociopathy fall under now, and while you can be "turned into" a psychopath, or sociopath, it is generally agreed upon that the causes of Psycopathy are genetic or inherited traits, that are triggered in people who are or become sociopaths, in other words, not all sociopaths are psychopaths, but all psychopaths are sociopaths.

Love Ol' Smasher. For such an iconic figure, there is surprisingly little lore about him. But maybe being left wanting more isn't such a bad thing.

You seem to think Smasher wears the Dai-Oni armor all the time. That's incorrect. Per the TTRPG, he donned it just once, during the battle of Arasaka Tower in the fourth corporate war. As is seen in Johnny's flashback, at that time Smasher was a standard Alpha class Full Cyborg. Per the books, like Shaitan he had the biopod cyberware option. Which meant you could destroy his body but he would survive if the pod was retrieved in time. If you look through the TTRPG books, Smasher's body now is a amalgam of an Alpha and Dragoon Cyborg body.

Thank you for bringing up the whole Cyberpsycho Theory nonsense. I am not sure where its coming from but its been so annoying to see how people blatantly disregard any type of wordbuilding to the point of even saying stuff like "Maelstrom has no cyberpsychos" or "Its all a lie by the government in the world of Cyberpunk to take out people they dont like". Not only do these theories dont make sense but as I said they disregard SO MUCH lore there is for this world its honestly insane. Great video man, keep it up.

Morgan Blackhand with the nuke is a bigger crook and war criminal than Smasher could ever be

One thing i find annoying about smasher is the misconception that he’s an unbeatable god who cannot be damaged/beaten in any way. The fight with smasher in 2077 isn’t just to convey to us that V is a cracked up cyber demon given human shape (though that is true), but it’s also to show that a skilled and determined solo with nothing to lose is going to beat Smasher. Especially if they’re just more skilled than he is. Blackhand shows us that message clearly, and V is thematically and narratively their era’s blackhand. there’s always gonna be a bigger fish out there, V and Blackhand happen to be the biggest ones we’ve seen. Or more accurately the best ones.

Man, I wish we can have an alternate story where Morgan perform a one sided ass whooping to Adam. With Morgan looking down at Adam in utter disgust, "All that upgrade just to be this weak? Pathetic"
