I've got the same truck, (stock rubicon height) and I have the same fridge... everything is excellent other than the paint used on the ARB fridge slide is not UV resistant and its looking pretty rough after a few months. I suggested repainting the slide with a better UV resistant paint before it fades and oxidizes. I love this build! Someone will be very lucky!

One thing you didnt say was before drilling holes in the tub Make sure there is nothing underneath that you will drill into

Really tidy install, but seeing that cig port connector 🤮 should've used either MC4 connectors for dust and water resistance or heavy duty Anderson plugs so it doesn't fall apart and fall out.

That 12 volt plug pushes in and then screws into position. They are tight and secure.

Is that called a rib nut or rivet nut? Also what dive do you use for 5/16 bolt?

Rivnut is one of the brands out there. They are also called rivet nuts or threaded inserts. We're using the 5/16" die for the 5/16" threaded insert.

@@northridgenation Thanks you. I trying to set up ARB Fridge slider (63 Q)in a 4runner. I do not wanted open any hole in the cargo area, but there is not other way to install it .

Size Matters. Nice instructional video but after installation the top of the fridge is higher than the top of bed rails preventing the use of a bed cover, so everything in the bed will be exposed to the elements ☹️ dirt, and not secure from thieves etc. would buy one instantly if ARB made the fridge an inch or two shorter to actually fit the JT truck bed. Any option for fridge/bed cover that anyone knows about ( other than Nuthouse Industries 5,000+ rack)?

It's the fridge slide that raises it up above the bed rails. We've ran the Elements fridge in a Gladiator with a bed cover and it fits fine.

@@northridgenation can you confirm the Elements Fridge would fit without a slide under a Rugged Ridge Tri-fold Cover?

Can that ARB wiring be used to charge other 12v fridges or accessories?

Yes. That is 20' of 8 gage wire, so it should be good up to 20 amps in a 12 volt system.

It actually doesn't work because the DC socket is built for ARB screw in plug so regular cigarette lighter plugs won't work. Wasted $55 on this.

@Paul Maldonado, from the top of a bed rib to the highest point, we're measuring 19-3/4". It is higher than the bedsides when it is on the slide. Without the slide, we can fit it under a Mopar bed cover.

Northridge4x4 thans!! Im running the fridge in a 2012 F250 with a USA Truck Covers retractable toneu cover. Im hoping to put the fridge on a slide and have it fit. If I have the clearance I’ll pick one up from you guys. Thank you again.
