The elites in this show look hella wierd and I can't quite nail down why. It might be the unadorned, flat matte armor or the way they move, but they have a sort of uncanny-valley vibe to them which is close enough to the real thing where you can tell what they're supposed to be, but far enough off to cause discomfort.
