Dude, chill a bit. This isn’t appropriation, it’s simply showing that even 30 years later, some the UK’s strongest climbers are still training in dingy little cellars and lofts on homemade boards. As for ArcTerex, I would assume they’re just the ones with the biggest amount of sponsorship attached to the film, not really sure why that’s a problem

@@GoodGuyRye Honestly, you're right. Not sure why I was in such a bad mood when I wrote that. I think it was probably the involvement of Arcteryx more than anything. I live in Vancouver, so I have a weird relationship with the brand. Film making is challenging and I shouldn't be out here throwing shade. Who am I to say what it should look and act like, anyways. I'm sorry.

@@unique_newyork I respect that, I really do. Thanks for the reply. Big brands like Arc have pros and cons. I made a film with them recently and the team I worked with honestly respects the integrity of the creative process. For better or for worse, small time creators like myself need the funding to make what we want to make. Cheers!
