Back in the 90's, when I was spending time on games like Strider and TMNT, this would have been a blast to play with a group of friends, especially since I was just getting hooked on the 8 Man show. The visuals are quite impressive, even by Arcade standards.
I miss 30 minute games so much.. Thankfully I've been able to buy a bunch of brilliant Neo Geo games on switch that give me just that.. Hopefully hamster will release this one too, looks awesome.
It's one of the villains from the series this arcade is based on. So, if you think it is weird, know that it was because it was taken from a weird anime villain.
An interesting piece of trivia; the boss Super Robot 005 was featured in an episode from the original 60s show. Shame the game didn't have Ken or Samantha 7 in it.
I love the name of the 4th stage boss, not Cyber "man" or Cyber "Lord" or anything else, it's just "Cyber". Good run through, I enjoyed watching it allot, good classic from my childhood.
I always found 8-Man's vocalizations in this game funny. Even though he only has two audio tracks. When he gets hit, he goes "OOH!" And when he dies, he goes "WAH!"
26:05 Man, some of these final bosses are wierd. You play the entire game fighting robots and mutants and technology, and then you fight a robot with a giant evil brain inside. and after you fight the evil brain, what's the TRUE Final boss? Some sort of evil skeleton ghost wizard.
This Game is Bad I first seen it in the 1993 Film Strapped now for those of you who liked the Film it has reached it's 20th Anniversary so go see it, and Menace II Society after 20 Years they both still look as Sharp as when the first came out.
Neo geo gave you literally the same game over and over again with a different title then charged you another 2 to 300 bucks for it, piss off neo geo, glad I never spent 600 hundred bucks on that shit system
Man, this game sucks so much. It looks very tedious, and the timing in the final stages is hilariously unforgiving. They expect you to take on Cyber's first form with little above 10 seconds? If it hadn't been for your bombs, you would have timed out at least once during the game!
