I need help on an arcade 1up up asweell

You should be able to accomplish this by wiring up a coin switch using the coin switch pins on the harness (located at pin 16 on JAMMA/CHAMMA harnesses) and a ground wire. Make sure that you turn off free play and change the coin settings in the test menu as well. We don't have a lot of experience when it comes to multigame arcade slot machines. With that said, they seem to be set up the same as most arcade games inside (monitor, board, control panel, etc.). If the company that makes your slot machine is still in business, you may contact them to see what they offer as far as upgrades go. You may also be able to get a different board online (try Aliexpress) or go with an pc-based emulator setup as well. Hope that helps.

@@arcaderepairtips you are correct that they are similar to the Arcade machines. The model I have is considered common, and I have found a group that deals with them for parts and repairs. However, since I enjoy modding systems, and need to perform a touch screen monitor upgrade/replacement from the old CRT. I will likely look into the PC based idea. For entertainment purposes, it would be great fun to play games like Metal Gear Pachinko, Zombie Hunters, Casper, and many of the other fun slots in my man cave. Thanks for your response.

Might try touching up the solder on the potentiometer that controls the volume on the board. You may need to replace the pot entirely. We also discussed your question on Episode 31 of our Live Show. While it's possible that pin 27 being grounded on the harness connected to your 412-in-1 board could be causing your issue, we would recommend checking some other areas before you cut the wire. Check the power supply to make sure the correct voltage is getting to your game board. Check the rest of the wires on your JAMMA harness (especially the video output wires) to make sure they match the pinouts in the 412-in-1 manual. If you do decide to cut pin 27, be sure to leave enough room so that you can reconnect it in the event you need to do so. Hope that helps.
