I really can't believe how this MASTERPIECE album reached only at number 30 at UK charts!!! The whole project from songs, videos, album cover, art and design, posters, EVERYTHING, were perfect. A Real Diamond!!!

I’m so fortunate to have been born in a time that allowed Arcadia and Duran Duran to have touched and influence my soul. Their music is a soundscape that tells a story and makes your insides move. Nicks genius keyboard creations and Simons range of his falsetto were meant to be. Johns base plucking, Rodgers movements and Andy’s perfect amount of rhythm that brought their musical talents out of each other just makes it so perfect. Love both Bands of music. In my mind none of their music was underrated. Thank you all!

Genuinely put this album up alongside some of the best of Duran Durans back catalogue. Shame it was a side project in some respects, deserves more credit today as a great 80s album. The production is flawless.

This song & " The Promise " are my favorites from this album. But then I absolutely adore all of the songs on " So Red The Rose". It's brilliant!

I first found Duran Duran in 1981. Bought their debut and have bought everything since. In my top 5 favourite bands. I know they’re much derided and sniggered at but they are a great band. They’ve had their awful moments but who hasn’t. LIBERTY being one. They’re not doing awful 80s tours and still making music. I will love them til I drop. Medazzaland ( spelling? ) is the album I play the most. Underrated and forgotten.

wow, i m really getting back to my duran duran passion like when i was a young boy....but this time i can recognize all the beautiful details in them...their great taste in music, the melodies, Nick rhodes undisputed genius, Simon incredible range and ability of passionate vocal melodies like this one...all the arrangements and the visuals as well are awesome.....and the fact that Simon looks like the male one,while Nick has always this androgynous charachter (beautiful always) makes the two incredibly appealing as Arcadia, in Duran Duran and as the great Artists that they are.......for those who always compared them to Spandau Ballet, just look at their carreer....Spandau went from the new wave beginning to a commercial pop in the end and disbanned.........when DD splitted Power Station and Arcadia were born, one muscle power Rock n Soul,the other enchanting dark pop..and all this for them to evolve into the Duran,that later on released mature records like Notorious, Big thing ,Liberty.....and to this day they are Legends still releasing records and touring the world.... and getting old fans like me back hahahahah

Oh how I loved this album back in the day. It feels like just yesterday as I watch this video. I remember sitting by the TV watching MTV waiting for one of their videos to come on. How different things were back then!

one of the best side project band which Simon, Nick and Roger did, after Andy and John left and went with Power Station....this album from start to end for me is really an amazing work of sounds, hope they can follow it up such brilliant and distinct sounds of 80s.

This album.... at the time it was laughed off as the overindulgence of a couple of out of touch pop stars ..... now it’s almost universally lauded as RHODES MASTERPIECE
