Maybe we are, and then maybe we aren't....only when battle tested, do we really know for sure......who freezes up, and who stands their ground.....Vietnam, Nov' 66 to Nov '67, kinda know what I'm talking about....just saying.....lol
lol its the are we not men chaaaarge that gets them killed first for acting tough and stupid and plus it depends the situation both sides are strong and courages their are different methods of doing things and both are needed and even in quiet place they had to do shit like that
@@animelover12261they realized the creatures were coming for them, either you make a last stand and take out as many as you can before you go down or you get murdered in the dead of night when they break through the floor
I was thinking of the 'I am Legend' similarity too. Having to get back home before dark and secure the premises. A bit of 'The House On The Borderland' thrown in too.
"Are we not men?" Nicolas Cage just delivered a line with so much confidence that even I, who is not part of that movie, would want to fight those creepy things
@@SH-jy6lcWell, need for money is what kept Leonard Cohen on the road so long and gave me the chance to see him live! And anyway, you really can't have enough mammoth bone...
That's because he owes backtaxes on three castles that he owns internationally, saw it on the news about 15 years ago. So he's constantly working to pay off the debt.
I like when people fight back greater evil, its one of the biggest goosebump moments, its like staring death in the face and still will to charge head on.
I agree, but I wouldn't really call them people, they seem quite primitive, violent and savage, so more of a force of nature fighting back greater evil.
@@martinhazle8123 I was thinking something more like the end of Hills Have Eyes, or even The Preditor. Im not much of a fan of horror flicks, I find characters annoyingly stupid most of the time. However, nothing is more satisfying to me than when the characters go postal, and the hunted becomes the hunter..
Meaning: who lives a simple quiet life Ar·ca·di·an är-ˈkā-dē-ən. 1. often not capitalized : a person who lives a simple quiet life. 2. : a native or inhabitant of Arcadia - Arcadia; "Utopia" Greek mythology Yup, it knows it similar XD This movie used to be called "Sand and Stones", not sure what that title was referring to
@@versversa8083 ok, but movies that have a WOMAN (or women) as the main character get less views and lower ratings. So for the successfulness of the movie franchise, it should not have been called X-women.
This actually seems pretty decent for Nicolas. Usually he kinda acts in movies that are not doing well. I love his commitment and how he can leave himself being the character in different roles so hopefully this movie would give him big screen 😎
listen brohim; poor brother cage got financially wiped out i think in 2008 (remember THAT shite?) because of some fiduciary shenanigans by his accountant & has had to take WHATEVER he could get to catch up ever since. this being said, he STILL gives a good account of himself, but a "post apocalyptic thriller creature feature??!!" k; i'm ALL in!!! the creator knows, the poor man has paid his dues (& THEN some). still waiting for that TARANTINO "STAR TREK" project btw. 🤔😳😼
@@Hawk7886 I liked his own story movie...what was that called. Anyway, great performance there and as well as retirement he was great. I loved the scene where he made this chocking sound of the guy chocking coz he beat him up as a way of 'I've seen this million times already as a assassin' expression 🤣
@@babagalacticus Oh, you see. I don't watch media for the past decades as much so I didn't know he was in such situation. Sad. He is great actor that could be prefect for big roles. I'd love to see him in John Wick for example. Or some villain in superhero movies, he would do 1st class of a villain who would definitely be scared of.
I know. Should have made them werewolf’s and take away the stupid chomping thing and you had a classic. I mean I liked it the way it is but could have been better.
the first time i saw nic cage in a horror movie was "Color Out of Space" and i was absolutely FLOORED by his performance. people can hate on nic cage movies all the want but one thing you cannot dispute is his ability to give every role everything he has. nic cage has been our real national treasure all along ❤
Cage has to have one of the most meandering, strange, etc careers of any Hollywood actor. I remember when he was a primo A-Lister who could carry a summer blockbuster, but also show he had genuine acting chops. I guess that's the way of Hollywood. I imagine the last decade or so, if you look at his credits, him busting up into some random little known producer's office (and we've all been there) like, "ummm bitch needs a check." This actually looks really good though.
Nick Cage embracing life of all British Hammer Horror actors...throwing out one film after another..trying a bit of everything..cos screw it... you only live once...we will look back in awe one day
I feel like you don't do all these indie movies if you need money. They're simply not going to pay as much collectively as a bigger role. I also don't believe that he can't get bigger roles, and the only ones available are these indie ones. I think he just genuinely enjoys doing scripts that seem interesting to him.
