Great ! Audio . Through my ear phones , the second amplifier had bass vibes through my ear the rest of my body . It sounded extremely good. Great video !!
Hopefully better than the sa20 had to return 2 for transformer noise when in standby. Also when it was released in the videos they used good quality Japanese capacitors but late production models were full of cheap Chinese jamicons.
I had to leave mine in for repair under 5 year warranty, left channel seldom worked. Missing it badly as I bought new speakers a few weeks back and hardly got to enjoy them.
The first demo used our JBL HDI1600 bookshelf loudspeakers. The second demo with the SA25 used our special edition of the JBL L100 Classic in a piano black high gloss finish.
The combo SACD network streamers were great despite no native gapless support, I owned the CDS27 and CDS50. CDS27 had a massive lush soundstage and I'm regretting selling it. CDS50 narrower soundstage but more resolution and tighter, they sounded very different through SA10. Alison Goldfrapp on the CDS27 was heavenly... I doubly regret selling it, I could have used both streamers for different music or moods. 😢
@@soundandvisionYou won't see them making a SACD player, that's a tiny niche market, narrower product lines unlike the Arcam of old, they even stopped making DACs which was strange probably because they built them into amplifiers but it is not as good. The combo SACD network streamers were great, I bought both of them, unfortunately sold the older CDS27 now have the CDS50.
So, after just 3 years they completely abandoned SA series. After initial firmware fiasco with SA30, they stopped any development as soon as they made it somewhat stable (as it's still not perfect), and moved on to new series. Right. Sorry Arcam, i will not be ordering one with your customer support...
@@j-day yes, but there haven't been any updates since they released 1542 firmware, which fixed MAJOR issue of the device, however still hasn't fixed all. And that was, I can't remember exactly, 1.5 or 2 years ago. Not a single update since. And now they released new series. What does it tell you? I'm one of early adopters of SA30. I remember those major issues, and remember how Arcam was silent and not helpful about them. There was a short period, when they finally decided to talk to customer on SA30 forum, but the day they released 1542 they were suddenly gone, and no one has heard from them since. So yes, you can consider now SA series as abandoned, even if it's still on their website and still in stock...
Yeah extremely poor 😮 and then the Musiclife fiasco too which has never worked on Android, I bought their first streamer in 2016 the CDS27 and now the CDS50 and always had to use paid 3rd party apps. My SA10 went faulty so that is in under 5 year warranty.
