This is the most incredible animated series for an adult audience I have ever seen. Who knew someone would write a script taking such an ACCURATE and deep look at abandonment, abuse, hostage syndrome, it's just damn incredible.
The characters that are in both game and trailer are Jinx, Vi, Ekko, Heimerdinger, Caitlyn, and Jayce. I'm betting there will be more reveals of League champs later in the show and they'll probably add show characters to the game.
So can not wait to see you guys reaction to the music video Enemy they did for the show. One thing about the music video is when you see baby Jinx with her little friend walking the Last Drop, it is because her guardian or protector runs or owns the place. He is the gentlemen who tells the topsider Watcher to not threatened the man making the drinks. So have a great one and stay safe.
actually now that we have the "enemy" amv it would be better to watch first enemy as it beautifully depicts the mental development of young Jinx (or Powder (=gun powder ?!; Vi = Victory? ) which seems to be her real name ( Vi called her that in the trailer and you saw it on the scoreboard when Jinx boxed the training machine only coming in second and being frustrated as hell about that) and gives hints of the story behind it and the "get jinxed" amv shows her insane state after - just how we only know her from the current game. Both videos begin and end with the toy monkey. The monkey is also symbolized as a graffity of fireworks when Jinx causes a ruckus in the city and Caitlyn is shocked by this. I am curious if this is just a toy she invented herself or does it have another deeper meaning, too ? Monkeys are associated with having two faces or being clever for their own benefits... What I love about the amv "enemy" is that it uses (probably) actual footage of the series mixed with sequences only animated for the video in order to give the feeling of it being the song of Jinx and artistically showing her breakdown inside which is very difficult to picture like this in the series. This is so beautifully done and I thank studio fortiche for collaborating with Riot on this (and the series) because we can already see that this is an amazing job they did. The song itself is not so much my cup of tea but it grows on you and I can appreciate the good/flawless production (as always)and it fits the story! Be aware there are some 2 frame shots between young and old Jinx which is very cool ;)
So the champions from league that will be in Arcane are Vi and Jinx of course (being the main characters). There is also Caitlyn (the one looking for Vi in the prison), Jayce (the guy speaking about progress), Heimerdinger, Viktor (currently Heimer’s assistant), and Ekko (he’s in the Enemy video). The character with the bird mask and hoverboard is most likely going to be a new champion in the game. They were supposed to come out earlier, but their release got delayed. As for the guy with the scar, his name is Silco, he’s the main villain in the show. Also, as a heads up, Riot is permitting content creators to restream the first episode of Arcane at a specific time on Saturday. You won’t be able to save the video, but if you want to stream your reaction live you can. They don’t plan on doing that for other episodes, but it’s still pretty cool to be able to do it for the first one.

Highly recommend this show! As someone that doesn't play league, you can get the full feeling of the world and characters without having played the game. The whole show is crazy from the animation to the story to the music, best show I watched all year by far
Have you already seen the 5 Old Republic trailers called "Return", "Hope", "Deceived", "Sacrifice" and "Betrayed"? I can really recommend watching/ reacting to them if you haven't already. The first half of the video "STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC Full Movie 8K 60FPS Upscaled (Remastered with Machine Learning AI) UHD" contains all of the Old Republic trailers.
I have mixed feelings about it coming out in acts now that I've watched the first three episodes. Like its definitely better than one episode a week, and I like the prospect of getting to think over what I've gotten before getting more... but I NEED MORE AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!
I see lonewolf isn't here yet. So i guess it's up to me to answer some of the questions (don't mind the new profile pic) Daniel Ford got all the characters that we expect to see. One thing to know is that the difference betweeen Piltover and Zaun will be important. Piltover is the top side. It's a very welloff steampower technocratic society. Allot of money and technological progress comes from there. Zaun in a city underneath Piltover. As in litterally and figuratively beneath them. Zaun is also technologically advanced, but it's a city of scrappers, they live off finding the things that Piltover discards, and reverse engineering them for new purposes.

@@MrHale every act has infact the lengh of a movie- so we get 3 movies out of this - it is just amazing! So much content :D I just hope they are already working on the next series because I already know I will crave more ^^ and I hope we don't have to wait another 7 or 10 years
You guys should listen to "Imagine Dragons & JID - Enemy | Arcane OST" It's a music video made for the show and it's a good one too! The animation in it is really insane and tells a good story with the music too
I'm really looking forward to Arcane Legends. I haven't seen any of the trailers except this one, but I've seen most of the actual game's trailers and the world intrigues me. Too bad I don't like MOBA's, cause I would have been playing the game. By the by! Once again recommending the Cowboy Bepop live action trailers. I'm also looking forward to this one. talking about the "instead of a year, you'll have to wait 49 weeks !" well uh about that. The studio (Fortiche) that created this, worked on this for 6 years. So if you want to keep the same level of quality, you'd be waiting a few years at least for another season. Or if you want a season a year, well quality's gonna decrease
Is that the animation studio that worked on it? 😳 Because six years is a long time to wait for a second season. Any idea what took them so long to get it made? Was it just jumping through the studio hoops? Was it the writing process? 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 for a bit of context, Fortiche is a French studio (I even know some people there) that have been working with Riot for years now. "Get Jinxed"? That's them. The first KDA clip? That's them also. They've made a few other works for Riot, like the Ekko champion video, things like that. The Arcane Series was a big, big project, much bigger than the announcement would lead to presume (Arcane has been announced for the 10 year anniversay event of Riot in 2019). In those 6 years, the studio have grown and in the last year, there was more than 200 artists working full time on Arcane. So while producing a second season migh be way shorter than 6 years, the amount of work to animate it, and get it pass all the production stages is not something to underestimate (I mean, just look at the level of detail in this show). I'd say that you'd be look at a 2 year gap (minimum!) between the seasons, and that only if Fortiche can focus 100% on it (could happen, but I doubt it). My guess would be closer to 3 years, maybe a little under that.

Side note, they did make an announcement that select clips would be released from netflix duty-free so that content creators could use them without worry for their videos. The post and link to the clips is on Riot's twitter I believe.
It’s done intentionally by riot because they don’t want to throw it all out at once because they want to build suspense but also they want to keep people talking about it. But also it’s pronounced vi(vie)
