Just imagine : you're in a cinema, it shows Arcane, and there are thousands of people singing and screaming the lyrics at every episode, cheering at every character first appearence, and going crazy when Vi says "You're hot, cupcake" to Caitlyn That's what happened yesterday at Le Grand Rex in Paris. 10:30pm to 5:30am the next day, the 9 episodes in a row. That was surreal, and with absolutely no advertisement the cinema hall was nearly full. I still don't realize what I lived this night 😍😍😍

This series is literally a "Nobody asked for this, nobody wanted it, but now I need a second season" (It's 3:00 AM, help)

Honestly imagine dragons and riot really outdid themselves with this. Every other soundtrack is genuenly great. Makes you forget that its made by a video game company

Okay seriously, why is this intro much better than the full version they released? Granted, I still like the full song, but this one just packs more punch

What i like about this intro is that at first, if youre going into this show completely blind, it looks like a collection of random shots. But the more episodes you watch the more those shots make sense.

0:31 The production & animation team captured the emotional depth in key moments of this intro so well. A trick used by animators is to extend a certain focal point of the scene, by zooming in, increasing lighting, etc... to convey a message. Vander is not only shown shielding Powder and Vi, but trying his hardest to protect their innocence. He's strong, tall and capable of doing so, then the darkness sets in, and Silco takes over, and given by his appearance in the show, he took the light away. You can also hear him do a subtle hmph before the scene transition. 0:38 The Firelight's leader focal point and camera angle turn to the drop is so perfect. 0:44 Caitlyn's weapon, bullet, conveys so much information about the way she fights I won't go too in depth but 0:51 the high synth, the scene pan on Jinx's face gives such an reaction, highlighting the intensity that she is fighting someone she hates but grieves for at the same time. And, a hands down to Imagine Dragons, and the audio team as well for delivering such a acoustic masterpiece. Both the official music video and the show. (Though I have to admit this video really highlights the subtle sounds in the orchestral/epic version) I find myself coming back to repeat this over and over. Especially for that awesome beat drop.

If you skip this awesome intro, then you have no taste in animation

Its weird that they haven't released this version of Enemy by Imagine Dragons... honestly I like how this version sounds more epic.

Arcane is a freaking masterpiece. It has good writing, characters, animation, composition and so much more. Props to the team that made this series posible.

This intro is just *chef's kiss*. So good! Hope they let out this version of the song bc it slaps way more than the original.

That very beginning with the two sisters back2back is so beautifully done. The expressions on the statue captures the characters and tells a story.

I like the transition from neatness to messiness, for lack of better terms; at the beginning, the busts and statues and bas reliefs are all tidy, and it looks like they’re being made by magic. (See how the rough stone behind young Vi’s statue transforms into Powder’s statue, and how the rough carving of Viktor’s statue shifts into a much more refined version as if by magic.) After Silco’s appearance, every statue is surrounded by chips of stone flying everywhere. It’s like carving statues (or whatever action or event the carving of the statues is supposed to represent) is messy work, and Silco exposed how messy it really is.

The first 12 seconds of the opening has the vibe of the Daredevil opening.

I'm very glad that Riot chose Piltover-Zaun for their very first animated series. Mainly because we relate to the characters because they're all human(well except for some like Prof. Heimer) and even the villains makes sense and makes you root for them. The marginalization of the two cities is greatly portrayed, just like the real world. Plus all characters have good writing that makes even non-league players appreciate because the other regions will be very much confusing to newbies cuz their stories are too complicated and fantasized for them to relate and understand. Also loved how it highlights the good and the worst in man. This series puts modern Japanese anime into shame. Remarkably a 10/10.

This is such a powerful visual introduction to the show. Its very powerful storytelling. It evokes such emotional response too. Gives me chills each time and stimulation.

Through a perspective of someone who has not played League of Legends at all, this is an amazing series, like they gave each character a story to tell, from the mentally scared Powder/Jynx, to a desperate Viktor who is searching a cure, and the animation in my opinion is my favourite animation I have ever seen

The animation of Vi and Jinx fighting in the intro is amazing .... dreading but low key hyped for when that scene is eventually shown in later seasons (we know they have to do it now)

The way the vocals combine with all the other sounds is just perfect. The music by itself starts giving a villainous vibe right at this moment ( 0:37 ). If you think about it is the 1st time the word "enemy" is said in the song. That's obviously not a coincidence. All of that combined with the great work the animators have done... This is definitely one of my favourite openings.

Arcane es una obra maestra en todos los aspectos: - buena musica - la calidad de animacion es de 10/10 - la historia es buena - los personajes son "realistas"(en el sentido que tienen aspectos buenos y aspectos malos) - la lógica es buena(si haces algo malo se te regresa y todo tiene una consecuencia) -y...! Sobre todo es muy disfrutable, entiendes todo a la perfección.

...I can't believe after all this time I just realized this. At the beginning, we see Vi but no Powder. It's only after 'the shadow' covering her disappears we can see her. But we can still see Vi even while Powder is shown. They literally showed her being in Vi's shadow. This show...is just a different breed. So. Much. Symbolism and foreshadowing.

I forgot to appreciate the actual video because oh my GOD are those subtitled so creative and well made. mustve took ages to make

The best part about this series… is that you don’t actually have to play LoL to enjoy the series and know what’s going on. Those who DO play it may be able to point out a couple Easter eggs or two, but it’s definitely a series meant for everyone. And that in itself was genius.

I wish there was a full length of this version of the song. The original on Spotify lacking the orchestration is so boring. The mixing on this OP is so good and cinematic, I can’t believe they made Imagine Dragons enjoyable in 2021.

At 0:05, the opening shows Vi and her back of the stone. After few seconds, it shows Vi and Powder. For some reason, they show Vi behind the stone indicates that probably be the hidden hint for the Season 2, where she probably got amnesia.... *THEORETICALLY*

It’s interesting looking back on the opening when you finish the show. Everything character is shown in their own spot light and you even notice some future hints.

I never knew you could do all that with the subtitles. That’s actually super impressive. Had to have been hours of swapping colors and slightly tweaking positions of boxes

Honestly started watching Arcane for the soundtrack, I didn't think it would be so amazing. I got completely hooked on the show. From the story to the artstyle to, again, the soundtrack, the shoe was amazing and didn't fail to leave me bored once. I get bored of stuff easily and tend to let it play in the background while I do other things but Arcane was so beautiful that I sat down and watched it.
