The Developers of The Elder Scrolls Online did it again! They have given Dobby ANOTHER sock but this time to boost the self esteem of the TEMPLAR TANK players out there! Remember when we had to use the Tormentor to make Explosive charge Taunt?? NOT ANYMORE! Dump your 5 piece set and rejoice as we can now actively use THAT skill as a REAL taunt without a set to make it happen! Templars now have their OWN taunt! With that in mind, they basically took the constraints off my design AGAIN, so...Dark soul (aka the original Lazy Tank) is STRONGER YET AGAIN!
4:42 Ball of Lightning as reported on the PTS counts as a permanent pet, as do many IA summons. Its completely all over the place. Plus, they totally forgot to update the class signature script for scribing, still looking for any pet. This patch is a joke. :(
I was relieved that I didn't farm it before the nerf, only to think about it further. How messed up is it that I'm glad I didn't do content or get things because of future updates?
Yeah I felt the MA2H changes on a corpseburster bow dd, these booms are huuuge now xD but it'll be much worse for a flurry 2w dd setup, glad I didn't switch to 2w from bow. :D
Hi Hyperioxes, I visit your site very often, and I saw that you’ve updated all the tanks (U44) except the Arcanist. You still keep Runic Fracture as the main aggro skill, but yesterday I watched your live stream, and you had Shield Throw as the main skill and Runic Fracture on the back bar?? 😅
Well, the Arcanist nerfs will hit like a truck in pvp. Runeguard of freedom and Impervious runeward were the literal FUNDATION of pvp arcanist, will see how it goes!
soo curently...which class is best for tanky role? Seems they never remove bounty things from guards as necro,so annoying to run or deal with guard all the time if you accidentally cast something by necro,on of most reason why i wanna change class (
Do you think the change to MA2H will be enough to switch to something different in Archive? And if yes, do you have something in mind already? Ty for the vids
Why does it feel like the devs make changes as if each skill exists in a vacuum, rather then looking at how skills are used and how they interact with other skills. Do they even play their own game?
I find the templar charge taunt fascinating, it will be incredible for dungeon fun. That being said, it makes sets like tormentor unecessary, both a good and bad thing. Great that it makes templar free of needing this set so they can actually wear a REAL tanking set, but bad that if you already spent time farming it...ugh hate when this happens.
Pulsar has increased chance to apply status effects so with a Charged Ice Staff it is almost guaranteed to apply Chilled, which procs Minor Maim and Minor Brittle for 4 seconds
Coming from a main sorcerer in pretty much every style you can think of in pvp, that shield nerf is not enough! Fake main sorcs will still run around and piss people off 😂
Well there goes my dk… only good PvP toon I have. Meanwhile tarnished is untouched and still one hitting guys. Yeah it’s bout time I play something else
ESO is very much an “RP Copium”game for most people, it’s a useless change as far as playing optimally is concerned but most people don’t play ESO for that.
@wormcultist6637 I asked chatgpt if it was wise to make small changes to skills. Chatgpt says, Yes, making small, gradual changes to skills in video games can be beneficial psychologically. Here's why: 1. Reduced Frustration: Small tweaks are easier for players to adapt to, so they’re less likely to feel frustrated compared to drastic changes that could undermine their mastery of the game. 2. Sense of Progress: Adjusting skills slightly helps keep the game feeling fresh, giving players the sense that they’re learning new strategies. This balance between novelty and familiarity can maintain engagement without overwhelming players. 3. Encourages Adaptability: Small changes can help players stay adaptable. Games that evolve subtly encourage players to explore different strategies and make minor adjustments to their playstyle, enhancing problem-solving skills. 4. Less Resistance to Change: From a behavioral perspective, minor changes often face less resistance. Players are more likely to accept small changes as they don’t feel as disruptive to their existing routine or comfort zone. In general, the key to effective skill changes in games is finding a balance where players feel both challenged and capable of mastery. Small tweaks help achieve that balance.
