Great video. A few questions: How do you add sound? Just like the narrative you do with this video? If it's not a native part of ArcGIS pro is there a way to do something with the exported video file in the Adobe creative cloud suite to add sound and/or also do you have any tips for using the exported video in Adobe programs and finally do you know if using the Animation tool will use up any ESRI credits? Thx!!!!
Hi Chuck. I do sometimes just use Windows Movie Maker (now defunct but got it in Windows Essentials download) but mainly I use Premiere Pro to add narration and and any other sounds requirements. Text is also added in Premiere Pro. I typically export AVIs as shown in the video and they are fine for editing in PPro. Making animations does not use up any credits as far as I am aware. Animation comes with the ArcGIS Pro license itself.
I have a question, and if somebody knows the answer I will appreciate it. I need to make animation with two layers: DEM of sea shore and sea level. I want to make sea level rise and fall, exposing DEM. I fail to understand how to make one layer move up and down realive to the other. I need sea level to drop to -120m, -100m, -50m, -20m, and rise +10m from 0. I need smooth transition between all these levels.
