ArcGIS Pro: What's New in Mapping and Visualization 

This presentation from the 2014 Esri User Conference explains the vision for mapping and visualization in ArcGIS Pro. The main goal with ArcGIS Pro was to improve drawing performance and quality. ArcGIS Pro provides an intuitive and efficient map authoring experience in 2D and 3D. The new platform supports existing maps you may have today and extends them with new capabilities like procedural modeling. The 2D and 3D mapping experiences are more unified in symbology. Map automation and layouts have also been enhanced.
We examine some of the improvements in mapping and visualization in ArcGIS Pro, and show you live demos of map authoring workflows, including advanced mapping workflows.
